TWatcher a lot of low middle income countries accept FDA approval as approval in their own countries. Not every country can afford their own body.
Very happy thanks bought in at 24p and now on a free ride. Forza Omega!
I've got another confession to maaaaake.
I'm really TWatcher.
Regulator comes across as too competent to work for DHSC.
Totally agreed regulator.
I mean regulation and due process just gets in the way of you spending public money with your backers and friends doesn't it?
Problem is TWatcher the public by and large don't critique quality of data. By far the biggest name on there for third party evaluations is FIND indicating high confidence in the results of the study but most people would look at the figures and say Innova is better.
I would take FIND at 90 percent as a great indicator of real world performance.
My personal opinion is its mostly political and the government does not want to end up admitting it spent billions on innova and then didn't use them which which a sad state of affairs when there is a cost in human lives (not that the Conservative party has ever really cared about that)
I did see a rumour that mologic was rejected due to having to dispense buffer and a workaround was being investigated but haven't had confirmation of that. It would make sense as a root cause of failure as in home use you want to minimise the steps taken to setup especially if those steps require liquid transfer/measurement.
I am an expert in point of care in vitro diagnostics. The usability of the innova test is crap and in my opinion counts for a lot of the disparity in diagnostic performance between professional and home use.
I've conducted and trained others in the use of such tests for years and it took me 3 tries to properly setup the innova. Go figure.
He does say 30.5 dollars. It could well be the case though that this is the "end user price" from the distributor to the customer and that the 15.5 dollars quoted previously is the "transfer price" from Omega to the distributor.
It's not unusual to see distributors mark up a price by nearly 100 percent to sell to end user.
They will be innova repackaged in nhs branded boxes
My god. Id rather be called anything else in this world than a tory!
Laughable. ODX have 5 times the staff of GDR according to linkedin stats
The question I now have about ABC-19 is around how clinically valuable the data is. I supported the product all the way through but now have more questions which make me wonder if I was a little naive.
How valuable is a qualitative result? ABC-19 is a qualitative (yes/no) test so can't be used to determine level if immune response.
Does the presence of antibodies really mean anything when organisations and countries are still more interested In whether you are carrying the virus? (Antibodies present or not) maybe valuable as a research tool.
Does the presence of antibodies matter in the face of variants and the ongoing threat of generating immune escape variants? Ie antibodies could be detected but they offer no protection against different variants.
I dont think we will see a positive antibody test granting freedoms any time soon. That will still be determined by antigen testing.
You are much more unlikely to develop a significant enough viral load to be very contagious if double jabbed
Not logging into the board as much lately and it gives more perspective. What an absolute joker hearditallbefore is. Supposedly not invested or interested yet posts the same crap with the same childish title on the regular.
Bet they think they are dead clever too
I'm still smiling from last night. come on Colin put the cherry on top
Oi
If you don't think it's a good stock just bloody sell instead of spaffing all over this board everyday
Pensievely twirling moustache
Robone of course they don't have mid or long term effects data but it's all about risk profiling. Vaccines are based upon prior approved technology there's very little increased risk by simply changing the targeted molecule in the mix. Theres more risk in a pack of cigarettes or a night on the ale.
