MMs are bookies, not gamblers....they don't collect shares, they could trigger a few stop losses to create liquidity and generate a fee for themselves. Remember, if stop losses are being triggered then people are clearly buying them.

Good. Those that can't bear a few negative comments on a BB deserve to lose out. This is a game of minerals, minerals they clearly never had. I prefer the thought that all remaining holders are a base of holders that can see through smoke and mirrors, the more of us that arrive the better.

Point is, would you rather have a company where the vast majority of shareholders refuse to sell to those that desperately want in, or 50% of holders with loose fingers that sell on a mention of "this is going down"? Flush the wobbly, build a base of stable holders and watch the market scramble to get a slice of the action when it arrives?

Vulture Capitalism.....It's not a case of getting a life, but rather how traders make their money. Sadly it's only the nervous that are shaken out and lose. The slight drop in price is simply the nervous jumping out on each other. IMO, I think traders are a force of good, it flushes out non sticky fingered holders....replaced one at a time with other sticky fingered folk until the source of liquidity dries up and the MMs have little choice but to drastically raise the price in order to encourage people to actually sell. With a company like GGP and its potential, it's imperative we have traders scaring off the weak holders who will later pay more to join the ride.

Cyrox: Nobody minds your seemingly negative posts....we just ask that any statement made includes how a mind set has been arrived at....otherwise deramping is the only interpretation. Atb anyway.

It's also easy to minimise a timescale to suit.

Tom, we have climbed from 0.6 all the way to 1.7-1.8....that's a 200% climb and your fearing, not 5, but 6.5% drop. It's hard to take your comment seriously. Atb.

....This mornings postings have been highly amusing, as panick spreads. Not sure if anyone watched the HVO board when it was climbing? Absolute mayhem over nothing...gotta love it when that happens.

Really, it's only 5% down for an already priced in event. The nervous are easy to scare out.....serves them right I guess, they too will pay a premium. But in general, 5% down from such a massive climb is not picking to be fair.

That's a fair point, but at the same time many investors move in for the long term, sometimes countering the effect of the mass sell off from impatience....in my opinion that's why we have kept at roughly the same price. Except the spikes resulting from traders moving in and out, the rest of the people appear to be staying put and the price seems to be acting accordingly as other newsflow is published.
