This is a really strange twist? Any explanation why you can trade new/bought au shares and not the centamin replacement ones?

Just contacted ig brokers who say they can trade au shares. Think I might transfer to them on Mon.

If shares were to rise with results (Wed I think) I wouldn't be able to crystallise profits with Barclays. Prefer to have my destiny in my own hands. GLA

Morning folks - I have now phoned Barclays twice, emailed 4 different depts including corporate (only to be told it doesn't fall under their remit). Basically no further on - frustrating to say the least!

Q. Has anyone transfered their whole portfolio, *including Anglogold*, to another broker and been able to sell? Is this possible?

Contacted Barclays- their corporate team are aware of the problem but couldn't say when trading will be possible. They did say that this was taking longer than usual to resolve. They also couldn't tell me if this problem was a UK wide one or solely Barclays.

Also emailed Anglogold customer support for advice- will post their response if/when I get

Can you let me know who you deal with as Barclays can't currently trade Anglogold shares

Currently unable to trade on Barclays - they are aware of this but can't say when this will be possible. Has anyone using a different broker been able to buy/sell.

Any info/advice would be great. Sitting on paper profit which I can't cash in on.
