Can someone please explain why share price hasn't risen. Market cap of £425 minus £275 (if escode sale goes through) = £150 for remaining cyber security business which is the main bread winner.

Plus a sizeable % of the £275 being returned to shareholders!!!

Cracking results 2 weeks ago yet share price is back close to pre-result levels!! Can anyone explain the logic? Future looks great so hopefully we'll see it take off in the new year.

Hopefully Santa has NCC on his wish list! We will find out tomorrow - long overdue some good news.

Apologies Savage, went back to check my figs and discovered I had worked on 1 billion being 100 million instead of 1000. The extra 0 brings it to 22.5p per share.

As you say there's a lot of speculation and assumptions having to be made but sure isn't it the season for making wishes - but remember, we've gotta be nice not naughty and dreams do come true. Hopefully more good days than bad to come.

Reading between the lines it looks like SSP will have to sell approx 12% of its TFS holding. If, and it's a big if, this is returned in full to shareholders I believe we will get a 'special dividend' of approx 2p per share (12% of tfs value ÷ 800 million shares)

Newmont released a cracking set of results but has fallen 5% over last 5 days. Must raise concerns for Anglo share price over the next few weeks.

Down over $6 from peak hits everyone, regardless of size of holding, in the pocket. We need to see gold price/sentiment rise soon to halt this slide.

We had a fantastic run but reality is now kicking in...... unfortunately.

Disappointing Q1 results today from Hochschild but I homed in on, what I perceive to be disconcerting, the av realised gold price of only $2708/oz.

Can we therefore expect similar (9/5/25 Q1 earnings) with anglogold and if so what effect would this have on profits?

Simplifying everything down and using the most pessimistic figures with production levels remaining constant (e.g. average price achieved minus all inclusive costs =profit) what can we expect?

Many thanks Peller and Skydriver (no relation to Penn and Teller?) for producing a little magic with Barclays response. I have also lodged a formal complaint and am awaiting call back. Hopefully they will honour the losses we are currently experiencing with Anglogold's share price going in the wrong direction.

Your post's are reassuring that we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel- at one stage I couldn't even see the tunnel!

Hi Hoga - Agree 100%. Disappointing to say the least that Barclays haven't clarified their position or given us any assurances going forward. Ultimately I'm afraid we are going to lose out financially.

Cheers Michael62 - just discovered time lapse in opening IG account and becoming active. If only Barclays would give a time frame (guarantee) for fixing this problem.
