I think they were involved in a 3p raise as well.
Supposedly they sold 6m shares on Friday... I don’t think so. Looks like they’ve been drip selling for sometime and they’ve only just reported it.
Morning H - and fellow tigers.
Plenty of fresh eyes on here today and new buyers, perhaps repost some of your longer threads Hydrogen, let the newbies see what’s going on..
Firstly, ignore everything that one2one and cashking post, they are the boards serial bull****ters.
Secondly I suggest going back through the thread, there are some excellent posts.
I assume you understand what the NSR is.. the T3 royalty is over the mine (and the immediate resource area) which Sandfire are building, that is capped at $2m - while nice, it is a sideshow. The real value is the uncapped 2%NSR over the rest of the area. Uncapped means exactly that, they’ll be taking their 2% for while ever MTR is an entity and copper is being extracted from these areas - 30+ years???
Check through the thread, you will see the potential value of this NSR is truly astonishing. And it’s all for FREE!!! No capex required from MTR, just hand out and take the money. It is a company making asset.
Two numpties will say oh no money til the dirt is out the ground. Yes that is true but there is still a hell of a lot of value in the NSR, a hell of a lot, and it will only increase as Sandfire continue to explore. And now MTRs own project KML I’m has started drilling - we have an uncapped NSR over this ground aswell.
Company making asset. ATB
30p by year end.. £45m market cap.. and the bloody rest!!!! At the beginning of the year I had 50p target by mid summer. If Kit-E hits that target will be long gone. Go back through the thread and read and re-read Hydrogens posts, those numbers aren’t made up, they are factual and IMO definitely attainable.
Yeah you can buy ASX shares through II and in your S+S ISA aswell - did just that recently. Volume is minimal at the minute of Cobre so it’s quite volatile..
As you held MOD shares you know how that went - I took cash personally. I envisage the exact same thing again, they have alluded to that today in the interview. MTR have a circa 60% exposure to KML (50% + 20% of 50%) plus they will her the NSR over these areas.
Short term they’ll both do very well - assuming they hit what they think is there. CBE have 10m cash and 20m MC, MTR have 40m MC and that is backed almost entirely by cash and liquid assets (arguably under valued as nothing/little attributed to the NSR)
Long term it’s all about MTR. Cobre will be taken out, MTR will receive yet another bumper pay day and it’s NSR will reap yet further m rewards. I believe there is a provision like the MOD in the event of a sale - I need to clarify that.
I have taken exposure to both in an expectation of a repeat of how T3/MOD went. I’m in CBE at a much better price than I was MOD so I expect better returns given the fact that they’ll be little to no concerns in the event a resource is found. Nice. ATB.
The mad thing is, this is a winner. There IS high grade copper and silver in the ground across the KCB and we have exposure to over 14,000KM2!!! That area is simply astounding, it really is district scale.
The only question for me is how much of a winner it is. Life changing for some that’s for sure but could it be so for some those with more modest holdings.. that’s the real question. I’m happy to wait for the answer.
Exposure to Cobre for a short term capital return / monetising event, both for myself and more importantly for MTR. ATB.
We’ve had a good move, only natural (and healthy) for the price action to chill a little. Don’t focus on the now, look at where this is headed. Copper price continues to strengthen, expecting a healthy retrace there as well - although I’ve been expecting that since 4.50..
So much going on here, just let the BoD go about there business and let the drill bits do there talking. Accounts imminent, ASX listing to follow 5 days later, then increased PR with updated presentation. It would be great for SFR to give us a decent update on bots but KS doesn’t appear to be forthcoming.. seems intentional to me personally. But with KML drilling starting I think he’ll need to start making some moves/decisions before the bigger boys start to look at get neighbourhood, if there’s a decent hit in these first holes.. and with the copper price action... exciting!!!!
Tame/Ricker - don’t converse with this lowlife. Cash has spent months on this board talking the company down (paid basher) and has flipped on a dime. Total low life, don’t engage.
Volume is immense already. One of MTRs biggest holders committing to the company. Copper price on a tear. Sandfire share price up over A$7. Sandfire Botswana exploration ramping up. A4 MRE due a big uprate. KML drilling to start in earnest. M+A highly likely. MTR investments doing well. IC article out and has pricked clearly pricked plenty of interest. Updated presentation due soon. ASX listing due imminently. What’s not to like??
MTR - the place to be.
I’ll be honest, most of that is just total jibberish to me.. but “ Kamoa type mineralisation” this is nothing particularly new, I think it may have been alluded to by MOD back in the day?? I seem to recall some slides/images on Twitter showing as such.
Wes Hall certainly knows his stuff and having him on the KML team is a real coup. Imagine if they hit the real deal. Yikes. ATB.
I don’t think the offer will have been £50m or A4, perhaps for the entire NSR across the whole area - which I’m sure would be turned down. If I recall correctly the BoD would only need to inform the market / take it to shareholders if it’s a serious material offer that they would consider accepting.
My understanding is there are a number of different options available for the monetisation of the NSR both as a whole and singularly,
Main thing from the accounts, is we should hopefully see some tangible value attributed to the NSR as well as get an idea of other areas. ASX listing will shortly follow the accounts. Then let’s hope to see the PR drive and the updated presentation. ATB.
Believe it or not, some people actually have cash in their accounts and are able to try and buy shares...
Reports of people being unable to buy today.. Volume is pitiful so clearly it is being restricted by the market makers alongside quite a large spread. What’s the betting there is large buy order in the background??
Thanks to MTR Twitter’s count for posting that today (nice bit of PR you could say ;-) ) I remember watching taht before but always good for a recap. MM mentions 250-300kt for A4, that would equate to around £25-30m valuation for MTR, that’s just A4.
Some interesting snippets in the Sandfire presentation, notably the talk of further strategic acquisitions in the KCB - read KML and thus see CBE in my opinion.
Side note, I urge posters to ignore the cretin who has spent the last few months smashing those company and has flipped on a dime. No morals, no integrity. Quite frankly despicable.
There you go. And as ST mentioned MTR the other day you can pretty much guarantee they’ll be an updated article, would be great to see him drill into some details. It’s coming.
Morning Keith, no disrespect taken at all. It’s public forum and we all have our opinions - just a certain one or two who I detest.
I understand the need for PR as a basis to get the price up but they are focussing on getting the company in the right place and achieving certain milestones, in particular the ASX listing. I think once that is across the line they’ll be the drive shareholders are asking for, updated presentation, IC article and some bullish interviews.
I fully believe in the KCB and what MTR have. So I said (to myself) in February after RR and Sprott didn’t take their warrants that I would reassess in 6months and 12months and see what the BoD have done. That hasn’t changed but the price and situation is starting to look better. GLA.
It’s an excellent point DR. Sometimes the best thing to do is take a step back, look at the bigger picture and maybe even switch off for a while.
GGP are where they are because they’ve hit one of the best gold finds in a generation. Nothing to do with GH tweeting. I don’t want my CEO tweeting about the company - and I doubt the nomad would be too happy either. The MTR Twitter account is constantly active and uses both # and $ icons which is smart. The ASX listing is coming. Following that I imagine they’ll be a PR drive, new presentation, ST updating his IC article and some more bullish interviews.
You need to do what you feel is right for yourself. GL.
That’s your reason for reducing tf?? I find that really bizarre to be honest.
For starters that was from December so it’s not new news. But the intersect was over just 90cm.. when the news was reported last year the ANN was headlined “outstanding high-grade Copper-Silver intersections” and it was along with a number of other ANNs which MTR released them all as “material progress”. If people actually read the stuff it’s all there.
MM is very much a substance over style, if you want a CEO that’s going to do flashy nonsense Q&As then you know where to go ;-) but I’m quite happy to be invested in a company where they are going about there business in a smart prudent way. I have the patience.
The current A4 Cu/Ag royalty is worth approx £10m to MTR that’s from the MRE. We know it’s going to upgraded (significantly hopefully) they are trying to locate the NPF at the A4 dome, they are looking for further extensions at the A4 dome. They are now looking to explore further across the 8000km2 exploration licence. And then MTR have KML drilling.
And then there are all the equity positions and pre-IPO bits and then there are still the left field bits from the circles MTR are working in.
I honestly do not know why you would sell, as I say - bizarre.. Show me a better risk/reward play in AIM. Please.
GLA.
Try to stop looking at the SP every 15min and obsessing - it’ll drive you crazy. There’s been less than £10k of trades.. it’s nothing.
SFR quarterlies and MTR end of year accounts are due imminently - we will know A LOT more soon enough.
Chilled. GLA.
