Tygra, as I see things gold has risen 15% in the last two months and since Newmount said they were selling and that has a couple of big impacts here - firstly it will improve the Telfer economics in the interim until Havieron gets started and secondly it makes the 70% more expensive. How those factors play out is the uncertainity killing the sp imv. Is there a chance that they would reverse their decision to sell? It is a waiting game with big upside just now imv.

I think his current plan is to keep talking up pie in the sky or hole in the ground projects until he can find no further sources of capital to tap. How old is he and how much longer does he need to keep this zombie company alive for?

With gold continuing to rise the stakes get even higher here- is that why the sp is stuck?

Our concert party can launch their own ventures and if they suceed keep them but if they run into problems , like maintaining the 'explorer' they can off load them onto the company. We are a great backstop for them.

RNS confuses me - lots of info - meaning what exactly?

RNS says we are buying assets from the 'family' at a price that is likely above their true value [ as always]. The silver lining to me is that we are paying in shares and that must mean the company is doing well or they would want cash.

Just heard a guy on bloomberg say that the increase in number of employees in america and the pay increase would result in 6% more spending power in us economy [ cant see how personally] and that means more sales in US stores. Good news for us,.

I think the sale is potentially connected to the end of the tax year and taking profits on around £40k's worth of shares to reduce cgt liability. The quantity is not really that significant wrt his shareholding imv.

When Steve Sanderson trotts off to Buckingham Palace to recieve his knighthood he might look at the architecture and ask why it still looks so great after all these years and be shocked to learn it is constructed from Portland Stone a very hard limestone. Hopefully at that stage the penny will drop [ or in UKOG's case the 0.0575 penny will drop] and he will realise that all construction costs on Portland are prohibitely expensive making the storage project un competitive with those elsewhere imho.

As a brief follow up to my GP visit , I sent him an extract from the rns that explains the PSE test within the context of PSA testing an d also a link to the company's website. I feel that I have likely achieved more than the OBD marketing team and will keep banging the drum with friends and family . I only wish I could see more results from others!

Speedy, it is reassuring that you believe SD is of good character and i don't doubt his ambition - in fact that is one of my concerns! I guess that i am just gettimg impatient and would rather have another 4 pumps working on dewatering than 4 non execs in the board room. Hopefully all will come good soon.
