Tygra, as I see things gold has risen 15% in the last two months and since Newmount said they were selling and that has a couple of big impacts here - firstly it will improve the Telfer economics in the interim until Havieron gets started and secondly it makes the 70% more expensive. How those factors play out is the uncertainity killing the sp imv. Is there a chance that they would reverse their decision to sell? It is a waiting game with big upside just now imv.
I think his current plan is to keep talking up pie in the sky or hole in the ground projects until he can find no further sources of capital to tap. How old is he and how much longer does he need to keep this zombie company alive for?
Our concert party can launch their own ventures and if they suceed keep them but if they run into problems , like maintaining the 'explorer' they can off load them onto the company. We are a great backstop for them.
RNS says we are buying assets from the 'family' at a price that is likely above their true value [ as always]. The silver lining to me is that we are paying in shares and that must mean the company is doing well or they would want cash.
