Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Tatty, as a farmer once wisely advised 'you can't chase very rabbit' and newmont have to pay for their acquisition by selling off some assets that will both raise cash and limit their capital spend. No big deal and furthermore they only have 70% here plus the hassle of working with SD and gang!
About 15 years ago I bought in and then overtime realised two things and I posted them on here. Firstly if the products were any good big pharma would have bought in years ago and secondly no management ever says - this is going nowhere we should shut it down and you should sack us '.
Megla and Sean, why do you accept/agree that next deserves a higher valuation? It is UK focussed which is a huge risk whereas JD has exposure to better economies, further JD is a global brand which usually means higher pe. Furthermore JD has and is growing at a rate that exceeds next.
The only place where next excells is a more proven ceo who is a worldclass communicator who generally upgrades his forecast by about £10m per month .The fact that he cant forecast dose'nt matter if he upgrades . Take note JD.
Extra, there are two things that need to happen, one is a complaint to the fca and the second is a claim against the ceo . I am aware that about 2 years ago a bunch of Angus shareholders were named in a case and were being taken through the coursts by a group of shareholders. I am unaware of how/if that case is now resolved. Investors here who believe they have irrefutable hard evidence of misrepresentation [ rns staements etc] probably need to get together and find themselves a no win no fee lawyer. GLA.
Btw will the company get a mention in parliament when the assisted dying bill is debated?
Duetsche bank have started their coverage with equal weight and a price target of 115p which is clearly not helping us. Given they still have a big operation in Russia and continue to make millions there they are not my favourite bank. Think they should move entirly ro russia and do us all a favour!
Matty, I complained about 4 years ago to the FCA and after about 10 months of toing and froing got the formal brush off. So I complained to the Ombudsman that the FCA had not addressed my complained. The ombudsman instructed the FCA to do their job properley and my complaint was then investigated properley and found in my favour. That all took around 18 - 24 months. Proves in reality just how useless they are - processes are designed to waste time imv. Andrew Bailey was in charge then and frankly he is doing a poor job at Bank of Englane now , talking down the pound and making the inflation target even harder. It is clear to me how their processes can be improved and i wish I had the chance to sort them as they are one of the major causes of the failing flse imv.
I have held here since flotation and witnessed sp drops often following acquisition announcement followed by recovery and more , so assuming that pattern is repeated all will be good. Imv the company was worth £2 per share before the latest buy !
The anglo deal is also likely good news in that it highlights interest in copper and potentially means two big players will not be competeing for Telfer and the 70% as their hand are full. Is there another view here?
Monopoly, the debt is the the US dollars and the usa has a strong economy. I am expecting the analysts will put some numbers against the synergies and the sp will climb a further 5 - 10p over the next few days. More importantly this adds to the new ceo 's credibility which imv was on the line following the profits warning earlier this year.
Happy, the company does not think it is ex growth, read previous RNS statements and you will see huge store openings planned across the world. JD is a UK success story growth and 1 billion in profts better than the darling thAT IS NEXT!
