Reading the WI RNS today about the Biden plan to improve/modernise US water distribution and monitoring infrastructure, it mentions opportunities for sewage monitoring systems. It also mentions their source for this as UK based. I’m wondering, if not involved already, can DVRG get involved in this huge project?

Wonder if the ‘investment cost’ of the first DMG for either PHE or PEEL will qualify for the tax break announced today? Is it an ‘investment’?

Without an actual working commercial size DMG unit, you are currently investing in the ability of DR and co to bring the first one into operation. So this is currently a very high risk investment. That’s why the spread is so big. DR needs to be focussed on bringing number 1 DMG into operation as soon as possible and leave the PR, marketing etc to someone more comfortable with that stuff.

I think it is healthy to raise/ask questions that come to mind or via research. I’d like to know if any of the folk involved with building the demo unit at the University of Chester have invested in PHE as they have been in the best position to judge if the first commercial DMG system is likely to succeed.

On the question about employees, Directors are not typically classed as employees but Officeholders. PHE have a registered office in Bingley so maybe there is at least one person there to answer the phone! ?

On the question about the Konin news and no RNS. I agree. Why no RNS?

It will be interesting to see if Shell decide to go on the acquisition trail to build up an alternative energy division.

It looks like this Wildfire system is definitely a realistic competitor to PHE. Interesting to note it is designed as a modular system and claim to need minimal preparation on the waste plastic feedstock because of it being a batch not continuous process. I understand the DMG system does require careful preparation/blending of the feedstock in order for it to work as a continuous process. Certainly interesting to watch how both systems progress to first commercial operation. PHE should get their skates on.

It was interesting to hear Howard's estimation for the target 3 euro per kg sale price of the H2 produced. I understand current price at the few H2 filling stations around as being 11 to 16 euro per kg. This in itself could be the boost for FCEVs as it could make the running costs competitive with battery EV.

Yes if they could get their finger out and have the first DMG running by COP26 then the potential publicity would be useful to say the least.

Also there are a number of conferences scheduled throughout this year about plastic waste and plastic pollution. Would these provide more PR opportunities for PHE?

DR was quite clear that these were the locations for next DMG installations but as yet nothing ‘official’ announced. I’m wondering if Peel are being more cautious and wait until Protos DMG lives up to expectations? I guess that would be prudent of them.
