Will PHE and HUI be using the same suppliers for their respective UK and Polish sites? Just wondering if there may be any cost/performance comparisons of note if different suppliers.

If the newsletter does not even refer to the CEO situation then I'm reconsidering my position. As they say the silence is deafening on this matter. One can only assume they are struggling to get someone credible and interested enough in the role.

Good news in the morning RNS and the SP opens with a strong raise then gradually falls back to the previous close during the day. Mmm.

HUI are the sales and marketing team that PHE lack. I believe there are other companies who focus on product development and manufacturing but only sell via a network of independent agents. But as stated many times PHE really do need a commercial product ASAP. I hope this new bloke can shove a rocket where the sun don’t shine and help Peel get that FOAK completed.

Dr A you mention Saudi Arabia. Looks like they are looking at alternative technology.

Yes the Newsletter is all about the achievements of HUI, which is all good. Absolutely nothing about what PHE have done, which is disappointing.

So in 9-12 months the EIA for Konin may be approved. So nothing much happening in the meantime but at least it looks like some kind of start but I suppose the message is to moderate one's expectations.

Dave I couldn’t agree more about the contrast in announcements. I get the feeling that PHE are almost disappointed at the progress HUI are making promoting DMG across Europe. I wish PHE would show more pleasure about what HUI are doing. Puzzling.

While it now seems that HUI are being the most proactive partner to promote DMG, what is in it for HUI from a revenue perspective? For example if they do get 10 DMGs up and running in Konin, who pays what to who? I'm sure this would be explained for the forthcoming floatation on Aquis but I can't find any specifics currently.

Gustav “where would PHE have been without HUI?” I think you’ve answered you own question with the list of HUI sourced announcements. PHE would still just be waiting on PEEL to support the Protos site which seems to be taking forever.

Thanks for the link Dr A. Worth watching the discussion part but I guess when you have 17 people wanting to say their piece in a 45 or so minute time slot, the message becomes somewhat limited. I sensed the enthusiasm for DMG but also frustration from the professor and HW about slow progress. Is it only down to Peel holding the whole project up or are there other parties dragging their heels?

I didn’t catch the live feed but sounds like it was a huge anticlimax. Did PHE or anyone not even put a slide up of how the DMG system is designed to work and it’s planned input and output?

If not I’m not sure I want to be invested if the people running the business can’t seize a PR opportunity like this. Basic stuff.

I have a somewhat cynical theory that whenever a company with a substantial number of private investors does well, the powers that control markets hold back the sp.

Dr A it's a brave move to press for an EGM in these frustrating times but can you list exactly what you hope to achieve if an EGM does occur? I get the proposal for Keith but what else do you hope to get as outcome(s)?

It would be insane not to consider using the existing gas infrastructure to deliver hydrogen as a part or eventual full replacement for natural gas. Air source heat pumps won’t be a suitable heat source for many properties. The grant money for these is better spent on improved home insulation.

Meanwhile will PHE ever get the FOAK up and running? All this hydrogen talk is not speeding things up!

Nuthazard thanks for the link to DR presentation. I read this as (at that time) from an input of 25 tonnes of plastic the hydrogen output could be just 1 tonne. I think since then PHE claim 30 tonnes plastic input and 2 tonnes hydrogen output. Turning 25 tonnes input into 37 tonnes output is beyond the laws of physics.

What I’m trying to find out is what input tonnage of tyre crumb produces what output of syngas/hydrogen? The demonstrator produced 50% hydrogen in the output syngas from tyre crumb but they didn’t quote any output tonnage for a given input tonnage. Just curious as, as someone mentioned, waste tyres are another significant waste issue with huge dumps in various world locations.

Let’s not forget the DMG is supposed to be capable also of turning waste tyres into syngas/hydrogen. Does anyone know the conversion rate? I would imagine it’s not as good as plastic but useful nevertheless.
