They made a profit H2 2017 and are keeping to their pledge of profits this year. There is a lot of risk averse market movements at the momentum AIM The issue here is we now have 400m shares in issue and an operational risk with one dominant client. We need uptake and multiple client wins. This will jump on results and then slip back if we do not prove the new business model. One major client and game on. All about riding the streaming wave and landing clients now

It is definitely a trying period for investors. We are nearly a quarter of the way through the year with little positive news filtering through. What do others think?

I am strong believer that any contract wins are reportable at point of signing if they are material, not manipulated to align to other items. They siftened the dilution news by hinting that the sitate of their balance sheet was hindering their attempts to woo blue chip companies. I thought this was reactionary and talks were already underway. 7dig now have the supply side strength so where are the clients? It is not as if investors here havent been patient (3-4 years) putting up with an ever decreasing sp. it is fair to say shareholders have seen little in way of returns, in fact the opposite. Yes we are at the 'inflexion' point but we never seem to get that killer rns. Btw - very interesting quotes from ex employees on glasshouse - saying they are working hard, including sc but strategic mistakes were made last year which they have been addressing. The story, the timing and product are good we just need 7dig to come good on their rhetoric and hints.

Really expected more contract news by now. The macro environment from a streaming music perspective is booming. From a micro point of view - company level - we do not seem to be seeing the benefits. It's now or never. Frustrated with performance.

Bouncing off lows. Must admit I expected the newsflow on new contracts to be slightly more busy. Lets hope the next one is a biggie, as we have the balance sheet to support it! Did anyone have a link to the Arden release?

Sometimes the falls are related to items not yet in the public domain - let's hope that is not the case here. The past two years there has been a spike in the price which didnt materialise this year and may now see traders exit. Unlikely but possible. Probably an institution flipping. I didn't see reference to tie in clauses but then again visible volumes low At this levels it looks good but I thought that at 5.5 plus. My issue is the flow of news on additional clients which is always hinted at but ends up being a third rate, low income client. 7dig needs to step up. Bring out stronger business case documentation, shake up their sales force and talk numbers. Talk about great margins only means anything if revenues exceed costs - they need another mms contract.

I can only see whats on the rns at the moment but estimated revenue was 19m, but what is the profit before tax figure?

For what it is worth i am hanging in there. The figures put against the enlarged share capital arent that exciting (2.1m profit) but in itself would dictate a sp in double digits. Ideally looking for news of new heavyweight contracts and an rns which talks about pnl adjustments upwards. Too many of the contract wins notified lack the clarity to impact the sp. Not sure what is going on with the update this year. They need to get a grip on investor relations and market perception. After raising more funds to the detriment of existing holders they seem unable , so far, to show us the benefits that come from strengthening the balance sheet. That said it is early in the year but hoping for a step up in the quality of news. Cheap at 5p so it is a hold at least. When conversing with simon cole he was adamant about the 2017 and 18 figures and upbeat about the fupcoming year - but i suppose he would be. All in all if streaming continues its growth rates it would be hard for 7dig not to make money. Citing margins of 70% plus they must come into play soon (although the rise in opex looks worrying it should plateau and hopefully reduce in 2018) Hers to good news and a 10p sp

The problem here is the good days are so few and far between. One of the longest bull runs and nothing. A correction and immediate mark down.

Who isn't underwater here?

It is strange but as late as December they were backing 2017 and 18 estimates so any negative deviation would be a shock. What they have failed to do is get their 'story' out there to the point the general market share their passion in bringing the 'passive massive" in to the joys of streaming music . Also is there any conflict between mms and other potential clients that want to engage 7digital but are direct rivals ? Would of thought so. That said we need new heavyweight contracts that back up the pain of the 116% dilution. Jan gone - we need communication on financials and ideally only figures revised upwards

Good to see the spread so tight 5.2 a 5.26, but cant get a quote on the buy side for any quantity. So what has happened to the update?

I wish you could edit posts! Ebitda margin in the case below is 30%. (Ebitda/revenue) Ebitda to pbt needs to reflect interest//cash exceptionals/income on derivatives/share of joint ventures so arbitary on amount but with an ebitda of 12m without exceptional items the adjustment down on a conservative basis and historical record could make 10m a plausible number.

If we were to schieve revenue of 40m we could look for a total gross profit of 30m if operating expenses stay at 17m we could be looking at an EBITDA figure around of around 12m and with subtracting an ebitda margin circa 20% we could be lloking just shy of 10 m profit before tax. At a pe multiple of 20 7dig could be values at 50p, 200m market cap. Now revenues for next year are forecast for 24m if we can snag a couple of blue chip companies on top of mms we could get a multi bagger and those are the contracts reading between the lines we have in the sales pipeline. Heres hoping.

Just to add look for the normalised pbt in reference to target figures not reported pbt (this is forecast quite a bit higher 4m) The operating expenses should be around 16m. As costs for h2 2017 are due to increase 70 odd %. I must admit i thought the integration costs incurred were a one off but opex increases to 17m plus in 2018. We must get to the point where the fees from new contracts go straight to profit. They must also get a handle on costs because what interests me here is the huge margins but evidence of which need to be made clear. It has been a long road we deserve some luck and a clear and positive update.

By that i mean that the reporting of the financials does not need the added gloss of contract wins to balance out unfavourable financial news. So looking forward to good numbers. I would like 7dig to adopt the mantra 'under estimate over deliver'. If they have feed through to Edison a figure of a 2.9m loss then they should add in a 10% contingency and state 3.2. If 2.9 is the figure management look good and anything around 3.2 is seen as market expectations. But although costs will rocket h2 revenue should outweigh for the 6 months with 0.5m of addition monthly income from july coming in. Still be happy once the numbers are published to back up my hopes. I am hoping their will be a forward looking statement addressing pnl. It is this and only this that will drive the sp to the multiples of the current sp we want. It is the big cintracts which have been more than hinted at that must be executed and 7dig to talk pnl and not 'under pining revenue' Hopeful of a successful new year
