RE: Palito's General Manager sacked.20 Jan 2022 20:04
So when this years production guidance was given many thought it was a matter of under promise, over deliver but it seems the rather underwhelming production figures of 33,000-36000 will be met.
The concern for all here is that qtr 1 was 16% ahead of budget, by qtr 2 it was 6% and then on budget for quarter 3. Again the expectation was that based on the work required in the first half of the year that production would bounce back to 10,000+ a quarter for H2. The 9,000 for qtr3 was below expectations but described as ‘excellent’ in the accompanying RNS. MH stated in his latest interview that qtr 4 production was ‘stable’ I am guessing high 8,000s. Therefore something is amiss. The drills are not working to capacity probably due to supply side issues.
It therefore begs the question how can they maintain this years guidance of 45,000?
Well we should know more next week but although the sp is showing signs of live I will refrain until the next update.
Good luck all
