You've forgotten the elephant in the room Drewky - who is going to buy Aminex? We're beholden (30%) to the Zubair Corporation and our (former) primary asset is also, post-farmout, majority held by the Zubair Corporation. Now I'm not an accountant either but if the Zubair Corporation can strike a deal with Bhattacherjee to sell 50% of Ruvuma for $5m and a $35m i-owe-you I don't hold out much faith we'll get a great deal from them for a sale. I also strongly suspect they will veto any deal they don't like even if all is PIs would take it we'll probably never know. So while I hope we'll all be laughing all the way to the bank I am far less confident than I once was and the longer this goes on the more likely I'd settle for just my stake back. Perhaps that was the Zuber/Bhattacherjee plan all along :(

Hope you're right Drewky but I can't help thinking that giving Solo something to talk about at their meeting is a lower priority than what brand of chocolate biscuits Bhattacherjee has in the board room.

Initiative *keep on topic* is an attempt by an AEX investor to ensure posters avoid ramping ponzi/pyramid schemes on a forum for discussion about Aminex. The initiative has its own discussion forum dedicated to discussion about Aminex and not pyramid schemes. Anyway ... news this week on the Mtwara licence hopefully, it's long long overdue. If it looks like timescales may slip I hope we'll be thrown a Kiliwani remediation approval bone.

Salaries are running around 2m per year GasLady so the Zubair cash won't last long. Nyuni seismic is going to be expensive so I suspect our 'friends' at the Zubair Corporation will offer a derisory take it leave it deal which I'm sure Bhattacherjee will jump on. The big boys always win and if we can hang on to their shirt tails great but if there are significant reserves at Nyuni I expect to be short changed.

Possibly BlackGold but a takeover would also need shareholder approval and could tie the project up for possibly years. I would hope the Zubair Corporation could be pragmatic in that scenario and offer a little more "pocket change" to sweeten the deal. However they could also just pull out - in that scenario I'd want a change of CEO to review previous suitors because personally I don't trust Bhattacherjee has pi's best interests at heart.

NT2 used rusty old good for nothing Caroil-6 though Crusty and the drilling crew were useless allowing heavy mud invasion to the well and limiting the low rate to 17 scuffs. Hopefully ARA will not be using Caroil-6 for CH-1 and a more efficient drill crew. We could, in theory at least, spud within 4 weeks. AAOG were able to move their entire rug in that timeframe and they had to build a new pad from scratch and demob the rig. We have a pad ready to go - just need the rubber stamp. Don't forget, our BOD will just be doing in the sidelines for this drill (thankfully) so it should run smoothly.

Well I hope Magufuli inspects our share price and decides it's reached the bottom and promptly signs our development licence.

The 1.6m buy yesterday didn't move the ask up by much. I realise there was a 1.1m sell beforehand but what does it take to move this up?!

Therein lies my point - Acacia claimed they weren't smuggling but it's irrelevant because they were immediately vilified and fined. Who knows what the truth is but regardless brinkmanship with governments is never a good idea even in the West.

If it was two commercial organisations I would agree but it's a government and we need goodwill. By plugging a short term gap in supply you would hope/expect some goodwill in return. For an example of how the Tanzanian government react when the feel they are being taken advantage of you only need to look at Acacia.

I hope that isn't the case cperkin that's a dangerous game to play when we hold so few cards. I can't imagine anyone reacting well to that type of brinkmanship - especially a government.

As I've said before I hope the November deadline was based on more than Bhattacherjee's hope that it was long enough to get this sorted. I can't see the sp coping well with delays and radio silence beyond the middle of November. We should, at the very least, be given a green light for Kiliwani if Ruvuma is going to take more time to age. I don't see what the issue is at Kiliwani??? It should be a no brainer!

I hope we get a series of RNS announcements, I would quite liked to have heard about Kiliwani first. It would have sent a positive message and since we already have a GSA it should have been an easy win. We've already agreed (binding) to the farm out so why do we need to wait to have our remediation programme approved?? A moot point perhaps now as we have barely enough time to get the EGM fine and dusted before the end of November.

Perhaps then BG this is a precursor to a new license auction? Either way I hope everyone gets their finger out and start moving Ruvuma forward. We've waited long enough.
