Well depends on your perspective blackgold - especially given their enumeration in the intervening period. Personally I don't think they're off to a good start on pretty well anything since Bhattacherjee took the reigns but that's just IMO.

So what's the likelihood that *IF* the circular is released in the revised (September EGM), revised (November EGM), revised (November Circular) timescales that it will be WITHIN those timescales (November Circular) or outside (December+ Circular).

KN1 should have been sorted 18 months ago. Absolutely scandalous that it hasn't been and is still not sorted. It's only slightly less scandalous that they missed an entire gas bearing zone for TEN YEARS! Sincerely hope they do not miss another deadline! So drilling to recommence over the weekend and it sounds as though the drilling contractor will cover/compensate for the additional costs. The drill bit is sitting just above the first target which has a 90% COS.

Can anyone tell me why people are selling this morning? Looks as though the sp was 12p not long ago and despite a few issues with the rig location and subsequently the rig drilling is just about to recommence. The geology hasn't changed. 90% COS is just about as good as it gets in this game.

Come on boys & girls, a bit more optimism please, trading at 5.5p by the end of next month ;)

The juggernaut just needs to show a little more of its hand, Cobre to get fired back up to full throttle and early production at LCCM and we're there with a little HC curve ball thrown in for good measure.

I think the Mtwara license would be a requirement BG. Zubair Corporation aren't going to drill without that or we would had the EGM and they would have started drilling already.

Only if the farm out if ratified. And I doubt that extends to mobilising a rig. Nor do I imagine we have any cash to do so. I would think that a drilling contractor would require a cat iron contact before mobilising and we simply cannot give that without a license in place and most likely the farm out ratified. Also it will be apt who will drill, not us, unfortunately.

Start what? Get money back from whom?

We have a pad so as long as the rig can be transported to the site it should be fine. Perhaps if the roads are impassible the Zubair Corporation can rent a MIL MI-26 (lift capacity of 20 tonnes) and take the rig in bits by air ;)

What's the best time to go to Mtwara in Tanzania? Here are some average weather facts we collected from our historical climate data: During the months of May, June, July, August and September you are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures. On average, the temperatures are always high. Most rainfall (rainy season) is seen in January, February, March, April and December. Mtwara has dry periods in June, July, August and September. On average, the warmest month is November. On average, the coolest month is August. January is the wettest month. This month should be avoided if you don't like too much rain. August is the driest month.

That's not an encouraging thought Crusty: CH1 spud in May and a fundraise/loan in the interim to keep the lights on (pay Bhattacherjee's salary). Hope your wrong but suspect you may be close to the mark. I hope the Kiliwani North issues are sorted sooner but perhaps we can't pay for remediation without the farm out cash so it may be that our finances are the issue rather than approval.

Any possibility we could all just grow up and act like adults?

So IMO all this means is that if we're no further forward on 31 March 2019 the game is a bogey unless they both agree to extend again.

There's that word "expects" again. I sincerely hope they don't miss yet another of their own deadlines. If they're not sure why re-iterate November. I also note the farm-out approval is expected in December so allowing for statutory notification we're looking at mid-late December at best. I think that pretty much guarantees there will be no spud until mid-January 2019 at the earliest.

- Which company is moving forward with planning and preparations for Ntorya operations because we're not going to be running either.

Nothing at all about Kiliwani North - does this require ministerial sign-off too or just TPDC? What's the hold up? We've already been boxed into a corner and signed away the household silver for an IOU; can we please get our pocket money back??

Eh, not sure I agree Drewky nor do I suspect the LGBT community in Tanzania agree either. While I accept nothing said on here will make one iota of difference speaking up about human rights abuses is exactly what we should do.

Magufuli's stance on civil liberties and LGBT rights is extremely concerning and it seems to be bordering on totalitarianism. This is the 21st century FFS. Imagine living in a country where someone's accusation of your sexuality could lead to state persecution, testing and imprisonment. Horrific. Im afraid your statement that they are "no worse than other countries" Drewky is wide of the mark.
