There is one 100% fact that dwarfs everything else, AST tried for several years to stimulate the wells and they were refused, the procedure of how they were going to do it is now being made into a new mining law hence the previous denial of a licence was unlawful- If Slovenia did not give compensation and the ECT route was taken It would be far easier as Slovenia has strengthened our case. I do strongly believe it will be a good outcome and also remember Slovenia want to put their pipeline through AST land. It is all good and getting better, just need Cuba deal for the cherry after the settlement.

LJUBLJANA - The environmental NGO Focus is critical of the government-sponsored amendments to the mining act, arguing they would open the door to hydraulic fracturing or fracking in Slovenia's Petišovci and, consequently, to public health and environmental hazards in the local environment. Under the amendments, high-volume fracking would be prohibited in Slovenia, while low-volume fracking would be allowed under certain conditions. Focus said fracking should be completely banned.

If you look at Slovenia's new laws for low volume fracking it is totally inline with what we proposed to do in order to stimulate the wells. So for me we will get the chance to do what we wanted all along.
