Cheers Ps. Still no funding update or site pictures. The upward SP momentum of a short while ago seems to have reversed. I wonder why. GL seems to go quiet on matters what us investors seem important . Cmon GL, keep us more informed on what is happening on site and funding time scales please. Surely the storage tank must be completed by now and equipment being installed.
So, Tincan, we have a new sheriff, but where is the SP, and where is it likely to be, and still no news, another deadline missed. Frustrating to say the least.
Yes it all looks more professional under Graham, but is it likely the SP will get to a quid, like it did with JP.
I don't think so.
In hindsight, if I had sold at a quid under JP, I would be a lot better off than I am now. As would most on here.
But hey, I didn't.
Rant over, off to le man's tomorrow, hopefully news before I get back, and up to 3p, can't wait.
Dear David
Thanks so much for the mail. I hope you are keeping well and thanks for the continued support.
Mohammed Seghiri provided an update at the recent Q&A, so please refer to that for a fuller update. As you would expect, our experienced Phase 1 project management team are hard at work managing the various activities and workfaces necessary to successfully deliver first gas. (please note that Kath has now left the firm). We continue to show the site construction progress that Sound is responsible for via our Twitter feeds. ITAL fluids have responsibility to deliver processing and LNG plant later this year and get the commissioning going for first gas q1 2024. Afriquia gas have responsibility to provided trucking, storage at their customers site and regassification. We are all working closely to ensure schedules are integrated and everyone delivers on time.. An update is a good idea and very recently we held meetings with Afriquia, ITAL fluids and Sound all together to ensure deliverability of all three elements of the project in a timely and cost-effective manner. The nature of the contract with both Afriquia and ITAL fluids with vendor financing means they are only obliged to disclose end points and not the steps. We are working closely with them though to monitor the main packages to ensure pre-site testing, logistics, customs, transportation are all ready on time. We are also in middle of rig contracting to start our first work on the two wells for the mLNG project.
I would plan a full update in a forthcoming shareholder meeting we are planning either face to face or via a live presentation in due course. This will also be a chance to meet more of the Sound team.
Best Regards
Graham Lyon
Annoying we have dripped down to this level, especially after topping up at 2p, but i guess whilst waiting for news this was to be expected.
Hopefully support at this level will hold, and when we get news, hopefully good and soon, we can bounce back up to the 2p resistance level and beyond. A good topping up level IMO.
Maybe people waiting for the new ISA year to start.
Or for Graham to announce positive news.
Either way, nearly there on both counts.
Well ktf, the one thing that I think will send the SP higher, substantially, is if we drill and discover, but this is someway off unfortunately
The site progression looks good, a lot bigger than I thought for a micro plant.
Years ago, in the eighties, I designed the piping layout for a below ground lng tank for ADNOC, the size of a football pitch, whilst working for Bechtel. This plant bringing back memories for me. Happy days
Looks like they have paid particular DD to the taxation element of the financing, which may have delayed the signing, knowing we are waiting an outcome on our pending tax liabilities, as they won't want future problems in that department Hopefully , when and if signed, they must be happy with our ongoing tax appeal, and we can all move along in peace.. Fingers crossed!
Looking likely we will drift down to support at 1.5p without news unfortunately.
Maybe people waiting for the April ISA before investing will give us a boost upwards, as not many buys lately.
Really hope we get some good news soon
