RE: Voting8 Aug 2023 15:16
For the last time.
If only canmax vote against, then in order to have 75% of votes in favour to win then you need 3x 13.1% to vote in favour. That is 40% of votes HELD.
WHY DID THE 17% major holders not vote in favour last time to outvote the 13.1% canmax shares? Because canmax said they would vote in favour and George trusted them. So the rest didnt bother voting when a simple majority would have passed the vote. Now we are stuck needing 75% of votes cast to win.
I do not hod KOD and never have.
I have worked through the winter in west africa for the last 20 years. I know how tge Chinese operate in a corruptable african political environment. Even if George wins this vote, or finds a new rich investor to buy out canmax, the chinese will do all tgey can to hold up the project to get it all on their own terms. To trust the cinese or the Zim politicians is naive. I have seen politicians bribed…school fees un the UK, a deposit in your Saudi account, a pied a terre on the cote d’azur…yes that will do nicely.
George and his team have done a fantastic job building this project in africa, I should know, but when it comes to dealing with the chinese he has been bluffed. Good luck all here. I hope it works out as I still have a 8 figure holding.
