In the interview (we know you don't listen to interviews) Nick promised newsflow over the coming months on further results, the decisions on assets and new opportunities.

The opinions on Hurricane being dropped are certainly split...£3.9m did seem a little steep.

The phone ringing statement was more around opportunities being presented rather than that specifically a JV being offered ...although you can't 100% discount that.

Looks like the new team are taking a very sober pragmatic approach to each of ECRs individual portfolio assets which is refreshing to see.

Nice yo have some new and level headed thinking on the BOD....and a nice little nod to other expenses (consultancy fees) not being spent going forward.

They are putting plenty in to Lolwoth as they know that this is a great long term prospect.

Not only for gold, but also for Lithium and Rare Earth Elements. 900km2 under license is a significant holding there.

I believe that we should also get an update later this week on what 'the plan' is for the other ECR assets.

More encouraging results at Lolworth which us shaping up nicely with further results and sampling to come....Definitely looking at a nice drilling campaign there next dry season. Progressing nicely.

Funny how Mr 1.39 goes running with his tail between his legs every time he is proven wrong or contradicts himself (which is often).

He restricted his answers to me to only 3 a day last week after arguing there would be an imminent raise based in a interview he obviously didn't listen too...and got exasperated as his multiple arguments failed.

Unfortunately that means he won't reply to this as I'm over my quota...lol.

Back to ECR and it will be interesting to see how this reacts tomorrow after investors have had time to reflect on the very prudent Hurricane announcement .

Notrex, by the same logic, are there any posts where you said Hurricane was a great license or a company maker?...I think not .

Yet you frame it as a disaster that the (up to) £3 9m option has not been taken up.

Not exactly keeping it brief yourself 😉

It's interesting to see that reaction to the RNS seems to be polarised on various boards snd forums.

I think the post close release was to give investors time to digest the news.

The instant reaction was that this was negative, however stepping back and looking at the longer term picture it does make sense.

So it will be interesting to see how this opens up on Monday , could go either way.

The new license does give much cheaper (up to £3.9m) access to the same geology.

I think we will get more detail on the overall strategy moving forward this week at which point we can have a full view of the prospects.

As for heading back to Victoria...it was always the plan to have activity in Victoria over the Queensland wet season (as per July RNS from AH) so there is no change of plan there.

So we have the same geology on a x2.5 plot without having to pay a potential £3.9m

And AH was a board member of Placer so fo you think the original deal was a tough negotiation or a sweetheart deal for Placer?

The BOD were absolutely correct in reassessing the deal and not paying what they believe is an inflated price

ECR are not abandoning Queensland in any way.

Why pay £3m for Hurricane when you are getting a larger licence with the same geology at Kondaparinga for next to nothing.

Acouple of hundred thousand in shares would have been issued immediately under the old agreement.

Seems a pragmatic move.

The cancellation of options is a non story as I don't think we will be exceeding the 2 or 3p option price in the near future.

Keep the sellers coming when there is no news.....let them exhaust their holding and allow us to pick up some more at these low prices.

Then when news his and there is no overhang left this will rise without any hindrance.
