To be fair James a few weeks ago you were stating that ECR funding would run out in Sept (I think based on the Oak bloke...or whatever his name was) and this was debunked by the company who have stated that they are funded INTO 2026 (how far into we do not know).

You seem to be pushing a 'raise' narrative quite frequently , when in reality it's not even a consideration for at least the next 4 months.

Also Mental correctly stated that "Even if BM is pushed through it can only fund reinvestment in itself" which is correct pending a mining license, however the company has stated that they believe a mining license is easy to obtain and this would enable ECR to take/re-invest profits in the whole company when granted.

James, Agreed , If BM is not up and running or the Avoca money does not come in then I would expect we will need another raise at some point in Q4.

At least 4 months to go until we face that prospect

Thanks Haddock, That's the figures I came up with on a chat GPT search.

I guess the unanswered question is around if this was more of a structural understanding exercise with only 4 drills or if they were trying to hit the main lode (which would be difficult as just have the surface testing as guidance).

It will be interesting to see if further drilling is planned and what geological conclusions are forthcoming after all 4 holes results are analysed.

James, Can you tell me what the results mean with regards to the overall antimony structure mapping and what grades are regarded as commercial for antimony.

I assume, as you are instantly classing the results as poor that you have extensive knowledge of Antimony and would be good to get a sense of how far from commercial you feel these are.

Some numbers of what is commercial would be helpful rather than a general statement. Thanks

It depends how long you class 'initial' as.

For the first few weeks/couple of months I expect they will be testing and calibrating the system, maybe sampling a couple of areas .

They will be analysing results and reviewing plans so production will be lower.

They will be generating revenue, however at that point it may not cover costs so not generating 'profit'.

At some point they will be happy with the set up and increase production to generate a profit.

The key for me is not how long they take in the next few months to get up to full production, but that they are generating enough profit by the end of the year to enable ECR to be self sustainable financially, which will put the company in a greatly improved position.

James, No-one believes that initial production will be revenue generating...I think that is a given (As you are already aware ....again !).

For me the only target with BM is getting in to a position where it is generating enough revenue to cover ongoing ECR exploration and running costs by the end of the year , therefore negating the need for a further raise in Q4 and making ECR self-sustaining.

Prior to that I am happy for them to take time to build the correct data set and operational set up at the site and get it running efficiently.

And that is what they are doing at the moment, taking the correct steps to identify and put the extraction in the correct place , rather than picking a random spot and starting to dig , which seems to be what some are calling for.

As you already know they are doing testing to ascertain the best areas and the long term production potential

As you already know the company plan was to bring it in to initial production in Q2

As you already know they aim to be in full production by the end of the year

So what is the point of your question when you already know the answer?

James, We are in agreement there.

Get BM Spanish running, progress Baillieston and start drilling Lolworth.

Let's get current ECR assets proven up and (BM) producing and then look to new projects.

Trying to run before we can walk by taking on more...there will still be good opportunity projects available in a years time.

Wouldn't describe it as 'good' news personally.

The asset looked decent at a good price.

It is a positive around not diluting existing shareholders, keeping the number of concurrent projects manageable and reducing cash burn.

But in the long term, if it were a good prospect it is bad news.

I'm sure the individuals who were protesting against the deal last week will now say it's a catastrophe that it's been cancelled.

The attention can now focus on BM and Baillieston in thd short term...and we will see how they progress/what the results yield.

Good initial news from the first hole, but let's wait for the actual results

'Shorts' is the default excuse for a falling price...not really applicable for AIM as hard/impossible to open a short on ECR.

'Pump & dump' is the default excuse for a price going up when it is actually driven by upcoming news or activity (drilling / BM in ECRs case).

Works both ways and usually with little/no evidence.

I don't think there are any short positions, but there are a number of traders who have talked the price down to get a decent but in level.
