Morning 3card.
I don't think anyone has claimed that yesterday's grades were amazing.....but they didn't have to be (only short term traders were disappointed as they didn't get a quick return).
What a lot of people failed to grasp yesterday was that Lower Pattison is actually an extension to the resource and a 'bonus' on top of the original identified areas.
Also there was an example from a poster around opening that bcm was a third of g/tonne that was basically untrue.
Nick stated that a prospective partner had stated that they would be interested in the project over 0.15 g/bcm , which if you average out the results yesterday we were about double that figure so was a good set of results.
Some posters talked down the results yesterday which were commercial. They can be 'modest' compared to hard rock grades, as long as they are commercial and enable ECR to progress towards a production model ....and as Nick said in the interview yesterday BM is looking 'very, very commercial'
Many people don't get that t his is a very shallow alluvial prospect so doesn't need 1 or 2 g/t like a hard rock resource. It is very low cost extraction ...simply put, trench 1-4m of earth and wash.
ECR still on track for a very, very commercial resource at BM with the second set of results due within the next month from the main identified resource area where they have found coarse gold.
During that time the washplant is operating to assess recovery rates and that means that very soon after the second set of results are received the company should be quickly able to put together a resource estimate, commercial plan and get the application in for the full mining license.
in summary : All is on, or slightly ahead of track with the commercial production runway at Blue Mountain.
