A little optimistic 'slip' from AH around 17:20....not going to walk over a 'potentially world class' asset for Lithium, P, N.
'Potentially world class' sounds good to me

Creswick was described as a "significant value asset" so talk of that being sold is just ridiculous.
I would expect part of Baillieston may be for the chop to enable ECR to concentrate on the Creswick/Lolworth/Hurricane golden triangle.
Also in the interview they alluded to price sensitive ongoing discussions....which I take to allude to Itagon (and would suggest we are still in a closed period)

That was a refreshingly frank and honest interview.

A few notes:
mentioned the history of the company, spend etc. said he had no knowledge and is focusing on the future of the company (a few here could heed that mantra)

BM results were disappointing on the outlier drilling. The couple of remaining holes near the site of the previous high grades are looking very encouraging. They will take a view on if/how to take BM forward once theses have been assayed....sensible and pragmatic approach

Current lab turnarounds are 2-2.5 weeks for cores and rock chips

Tambo is light touch at the moment with historic data being collated - will be evaluated for next steps

Creswick - AH said it is a 'significant value asset' and that the recent results were excellent and along with the re-testing and subsequent sampling give good confidence.
Next steps are in 2.5 weeks when finished at BM will do follow up drilling on the Brewery Lane site (that they are keeping for now for access reasons and will re-evaluate the sale of later) and also extend soil sampling further south incorporating 4 or 5 already identified targets.

No JV talks at the moment or during AHs tender. plan is a get a good handle on the future value of Creswick through the drilling and sampling campaign to enable informed discussions for JV or evaluate if ECR better going alone.

Currently awaiting final sampling results.
Ah was very enthused about the "extremely encouraging" results so far with two significant lithium anomalies totalling 10-20km in strike length.
Stream sediment showed very good grades,...he also mentioned "sources" (plural) and unusually optimistically dropped in the potential for a 1m+ oz asset (think he was getting excited at that point).

Hurricane DD satisfactory so far. 'great ground' with near surface commercial potential.

The last few minutes were extremely interesting:
'The prospects for the company are excellent over the next two years'
The BOD are fully committed and ECR is working 24/7 with decisions made quickly.

Andrew Haythorpe said In his 20+ years of working ECR have easily the best portfolio and opportunities he has ever seen.

I think that last statement sums it up !

Melville/P1D, For once we are in complete agreement that discovering gold in the ground will be what will revive the SP and trigger a JV.
So what's the best way to achieve this?

1. Acquire a continual10km of prime real estate with the DMS running through it .
2. Do substantial sampling to identify areas of potential (get grades of 400+ g/t & 180+ g/t to build confidence) and start to build the data set.
3. Discover a parallel system
4. Have one drill (and one on the way) owned by the company so that they have guaranteed availability.
5. Drill , Drill, Drill !!!....on both the main and parallel system to increase the confidence and data that will peak the interest of potential JV partners.
6. Negotiate with potential partner.
7. Agree JV with 20-30% free ride
8. Increases mcap to £xxx million

I think that's the pathway we are on.....point 5 to commence shortly

rx - I know....not claiming to be able to trade at the perfect time ....got a reasonable holding at an OK average though.
If I tried to buy my holding from scratch now I would probably push the Sp up to my average anyway.

No , I'm a well researched holder of a well funded company with great potential.
I don't need to 'pump' the company as I won't be selling out any shares for a few months at least , until Creswick has JV'd or any of the other (BM, Lolworth, Hurricane) have caused a step change in the SP ...I'll make a judgement call at that point.

And yes the SP is in the mid 0.6's and is a great level for others to enter a company at an incredible price. As for me I have a considerable holding here and piled in big time last time it went to 0.6 as I recognised that this is the price to invest at.
As for the larger holders, they are privy to more information, direct discussions with the board and were happy to take on more shares in the offering @ 0.9p which shown the confidence they have in the board and company.

Morning Rx, Thought I'd take you off the naughty step and see if your posts had improved...disappointingly not ;-(
I see you are over 250 recent posts on a company you have only negative sentiment on....strange.

With regards to 2-4p holders or 'the poor sods' I think you will find that a number of them are very bitter twisted individuals and post negative posts based on the past and the PJ/CB days ....I think Yourself, Snip and Armani have all previously confessed to being holders/previous holders in that zone.

A great number of us are sub penny on average and have based our investment (and the large holders as well) on a medium/ long term view with the great potential that the company has on many fronts. We understand it's and explorer and , although one RNS may lead to a quick re-rate , explorers take patience and the true big profits are made by investing around this stage, right before a breakout year, twhich is what ECR have the potential to make.

Funding for the year, great licences, great initial grades, Lithium potential and drill (soon to be drills) on the ground proving up the resource this year ...and moving towards building data towards a JV proposition...and if that comes to fruition where will the SP be?

Highlights include 0.7m @ 189.42 g/t Au and 0.4m @ 86.51 g/t Au from (EL006184); 0.25m @ 441.23 g/t Au, 0.15m @ 140.83 g/t Au and 0.25m @ 24.92 g/t Au from (EL006713).Widths of reported grades are close to true width. Ground work continues through newly acquired tenements towards Ballarat.

Sampling and drilling will continue and the company is funded at least through the year with well over £1m in the bank and potential disposals (i.e. Itagon) to happen this year.

Also on the Directors having other roles, I used to work for a FTSE 100 company where quite a number of the Exec had roles on 3 or 4 other boards,,,it's a pretty common practice

So Armani, Can I just clarify that your logic is that poor gold grades are bad, but excellent gold grades from sampling are not good because the MIGHT not transfer in to grades when drilling occurs (there again they might) and therefore every piece of sampling that is not drilling for every explorer is worthless and should be ignored....because it happened once in a company you were invested in. That's what you are saying

Of the last 9 RNSs eight have been positive and the other was a rather benign Blue Moon drilling result (and they are now drilling the red zone there).
At some point the flow of positive news is going to re-rate this baby.

Agreed Legal, What we need is 'the plan' for MIdas and an outline plan for drill 2.
Will be interesting to see if they concentrate on Creswick with both drills to increase the data set and make it more appealing , quicker to potential JV partners, or if they will split the drills with one heading to Hurricane for the required DD/contracted drilling.
Personally I would like to see 2 at Creswick and get a contracted drill/crew on Lolworth. Creswick JV has to be the initial aim as it will release resource to prove up the other programmes, stop expense at that license and also help with future raises as the SP would take a massive jump if they do sign of a JV.

A nice outline roadmap of the next year or two for ECR would be nice.

Passiton,We are going through the exploration ....rock chips are good indicators......if they were a 100% confirmed resource the SP would not be where it is (we will get there!).
You are investing in potential at this point.
Just because the Solomon islands did not work out for another company does not mean that Victoria will not (the geology of the area give a reasonable case to be optimistic).

passiton... the 189g/t over 0.75 meters is as impressive as the biggest grade reported as it's over a reasonable width.
Definitely a very encouraging set of reports that they will aim to back up with drilling

Nothing has fundamentally changed with the company since Xmas.
Funding is still in place ...we probably have somewhere around £1.3-£1.7m in the bank.
Lolworth continues to look a good prospect from the initial results and the potential for Lithium is a bonus and has been shown to be of significant interest in the latest results...will be explored further (what got lost in the results was that the gold sampling was very good as well for initial results).
Creswick continues to grow , both in the fact that we now have a continuous 10km under license and that the 'parallel system' discovery , which I expect to be subject to one of the drills in H1.
DD on Hurricane continues and we should get an update with the drilling plan there in the next 2-3 months.
Blue Moon results from the outlier holes shows a continuation of the resource. Will be good to see the 'red zone' drilling starting.

And yet the SP has dropped by c30% due to either impatience or a lack of clarity of direction.
If it's the second then I hope the upcoming 'Operational Plans' interview reverses the trend.

Well I'm sure someone from the board used to read this BB as a number of questions raised here used to be answered in interviews (before the days of Gino's twitter questions).
Doubtful that would happen now as I doubt they will read through 90+ posts a day , the majority of which are nonsense or bickering.
It would be good if they addressed the closed period question, but I believe the main topics will be the Operational Plan for the rest of the year and maybe an insight in to AH's strategy for the company.

The first of the three 500k share trades is definitely a sell.
The other two look like a bed & ISA as they are within seconds of each other.
