My view is that if you link to something and say, "Related but obviously not researched," it's highly relevant.

If you link to something and quote from it with no comment on it, it implies endorsement. So when I read it I thought you were endorsing the article. And wondered why.

At this point, I think I should point out that in this thread, Spy has stated that 75p is a stupidly small amount, and Spy calls Paddy a ramper. I just want to follow this logic through because I don't feel like doing a serious post right now.

If 75p is stupidly small, then Spy's view must be that the actual valuation is over a pound, right? Which would be cool. But, HE says PADDY is a ramper, which means Paddy's view must be, like £2 or more (Paddy's not here right now so I can take his name in vain shamelessly).

Now we all know that Paddy is indisputably right on everything, and if anything, he's conservative, so the SP should be £3-4, right? My logic on this must be correct, so disagree with me at your peril.

So, that means the SP should be £5, and Mickey is a deramper because he's never rerated his 74p. Even Spy, who compared to Paddy is a deramper (since the SP should be £10), says 75p is "stupidly small." And we know he's right because the SP should be £25.

So, Mickey's a deramper, Spy's a deramper, we're all going to be richer than Bill Gates (the SP should be £100, after all), and it's only the MMs who are denying us (to hijack an imperialistic phrase) our Manifest Destiny of a SP of £250.

That problem can be solved by selling for £X but retaining a royalty right for production over Y oz/year. That way, you get loads of lovely lolly now and, if it produces significantly more gold / copper than anticipated at the point of sale, you get a royalty as well.

If both companies want to do a deal, there are ways to come up with a fair deal. Whether they want to do a deal or just continue the JV all the way through, I don't know. Doesn't make a lot of difference to me, but obviously it does to some people.

US has stopped funding the WHO, officially given its one-year withdrawal notice, and has almost no voice within the WHO now. Why would they listen to the US? No reason at all. It's not logical to say that the US controls the WHO.

Bill Gates probably has significant influence but, in case you hadn't noticed, Billy and Donnie are not on best terms.

They will certainly pay a dividend if they can. That's pretty much the way of it with Russian miners.

Nope. Logic says the "M" in MRE stands for "Maiden", it's an initial estimate, doesn't have to be complete. Later estimates can be much higher. It just has to be big enough to justify proceeding and convince investors it's a good plan.

A sale of our share of Hav, in my opinion, will be pushed back (if it happens at all) to mid 2021 or later, because the thing is too big to figure out a "fair market value". But the MRE doesn't have to wait that long.

Well, not necessarily a good thing, it means a little more cash coming in, but it also means the holders are probably exercising to sell them (if they are exercising before the expiration date), which drives the price down.

It's not a bad thing, particularly, it made sense to issue them at the time. It's just a residual thing that has to be worked through over the next year and then it will be over. Might hold the SP down a little, more people getting a share if there are any big payouts. But good for them, they invested back when it wasn't as derisked as it is now. The warrants are part of their reward for taking the risk -- if they hadn't taken it, the company might not be where we are now. No one should really complain about it.

Do not assume that HMRC is logic-driven in their approach.

Hector might argue that a gold explorer is "dealing in land" and/or "making or holding investments."

I think it's pretty clear that if we actually do a mining joint venture with NCM at Hav that we are not just "dealing in land," we're actively producing something. It's more uncertain if we don't.

MMs can manipulate things on a very small scale and occasionally do. But mostly, they do exactly as described. It's in their interest to maintain good liquidity so the idea of them holding the price down artificially for any extended time is not supportable.

If the SP hasn't risen as far as you think it should have, there are two primary likely causes. The first is that you are wrong. The second is that the market isn't as smart as you. With large cap, it's usually you. With AIM, sometimes you actually do know more because the market isn't paying as much attention as you are.

Mate, do yourself and the rest of us a favour and stop commenting until you understand this share. Go to GGPHelp.co.uk and read up and listen to all the videos. Go to Greatlandgold.com and look at all the maps and get an understanding of what the colours on the maps actually mean. Get a clue to what this company is about and then come back and present opinions and ask to be corrected if wrong.

But don't present opinions when you don't have a clue. You don't understand enough to know how clueless you sound.

If you are just here to trade, that's cool, talk about charts and we'll all smile to ourselves and say, "Good luck, we're glad to have traders, liquidity is a good thing, thanks for that, but you're playing a different game from most of us." But if you are going to invest here, learn what it is you are investing in and don't try to sound like you know anything until a little bit of knowledge has seeped around the corners of your skull and oozed into your brain.

Don't do it. Just walk away, run if you have to.

She might work for the MMs, she might work for NCM or RIO or someone else who wants to get this before the market wakes up to what it is going to be, but if she's offering you a little bit of money for your shares, maybe 15p today, maybe 16, maybe even 20, DON'T DO IT.

It might take some time but this is going a lot higher than 20p. Don't listen to the siren song. It doesn't matter what you paid and how much profit you have, the only thing that matters is whether this is going to be worth a lot more in the long run than the price today.

Don't let someone "steal" what you have for a paltry price, no matter how appealing / sexy it looks. Hold, hold, hold.

There is a difference between "buy" and "make an offer." The offer had better be a good one or they won't be buying.

I don't believe it's imminent for more than one reason. The most important reason is that no one yet really knows how big the beast is, so no one yet knows what's a good price.

Hasn't anyone here made enough money on this to buy poor GH a thesaurus?

@Elise, in my view, GH can use whatever spelling of "strewth" he wants. He can print his own entire dictionary and choose whatever spellings and definitions he wants for every blinking word in the English language.
