RE: SEED is Sucking Diesel20 Jul 2021 08:33
Trollaway ""Until we realise the capital of Leap and invest in something with more growth potential, nobody will be interested in SEED" - It's tricky, isn't it. After all, who says Leap doesn't continue to have growth potential? The value in realising the capital in Leap now is that we get a true valuation for the investment, which will directly hit the NAV and so the SP. It isn't necessarily the case that we suddenly get faster growth in another area. I'm easy tbh. It would be nice to sell now so we get that leap in NAV valuation, and so I feel 'richer' and can sell if I want to make a quick buck. But at the same time, it feels like it isn't a bad one to have in the portfolio either. I'm guessing there's a good reason for not floating/selling at the moment. The long term direction for SEED seems to be remaining good (with a clear strategy) and the SP will follow - eventually.
