I agree Gardeneye - though at the same time, the cannabis sector has become slightly unfashionable, after the debacle around the Cellular Goods IPO. It'll come back, somewhat obviously, but for the moment, I'm guessing people are waiting for it to become fashionable again. The slightly mixed news is that there are another two or three cannabis IPOs on the cards this year.

I'm sure this presentation is going to change the price of fish.

EricDraven - I thought your position was to sit on your hands and trust "the process"? Well, this is the process that you have signed up to. It's too late to change your mind, isn't it? What does 'stir the hornet's nest' mean exactly? Perhaps you could offer something a little more constructive? Many of the rest of us have offered ideas, and your contribution was only a string of pompous insults. Anyway, let us know. We're all ears.

Really interesting watching the trades on this one (that's how dull my life is in lockdown). £250k trade at 13.44 today, listed as a sell, but runs concurrently with a tick up in bid/offer price. Such a massive trade, a third of today's volume, is obviously a buy. What gets me is the volume that drives the share price down. Thin volume, drop in price, along comes a big buyer, vacuums all of them up, and direction switches. Fascinating stuff!

Why doesn't he ask his employer? CBD products sold for health issues are completely legitimate and there is nothing at all illegal about using them. Thus you 'colleague' shouldn't have an issue asking. If your 'colleague's' employer treats him differently after asking, then your 'colleague' has excellent grounds for legal action. Consult an employment lawyer. This is the last place I'd dream of asking such a question, not least because you could get incorrect information! And so what if your colleague ended up NOT taking CBD products as a result of some numpty here giving incorrect information? Jeez!

It's only PEEL and they posted their bid price the last among the brokers at 0757. Once, their board is clear and out of the way, well, it's anyone's guess, but this ain't going back down to 140 today!

Still thin at 175. It's the big traders running this one - with trades over 10k a pop. A couple of big buys will see it back up to 180.

Doggo - Any Endeavour buy out of LEAP may happen pre-IPO (if that's what you're suggesting) though time is short. Equally however, "The company said it plans to use the net proceeds from the IPO and the private placements for “working capital and general corporate purposes,” as well as “to fund our current or future joint ventures, investments or acquisitions of complementary businesses or other assets,” including the Reigning Champs acquisition." This suggests the whole purpose of the IPO is to buy assets such as LEAP.

Thanks Aug59 - fair comment and I agree about UNESCO and the risk. Wrt to Kurt, my point is that I'm not convinced his heart is in realising the Kallak asset. He's interested in his career, and good for him. That's what a job is. Looking after number one. He'll get a reasonable tick on his CV when he moves on. It's slightly riskier for him to use his imagination and look at different ways to resolve the Kallak conflict. But he doesn't have to resolve it because the shareholders are content for him to do nothing. He's followed the process and why should he do anything else? If we don't get it, it won't be his fault. It'll be the fault of 'the process'. When he moves on, his legacy will be that of a standard geologist/miner. He'll claim to have 'transformed' BEM, and in certain respects he has (it isn't just about Kallak on paper). But let's face it. No one really cares. All we care about is the Kallak asset. Kurt isn't a mover/shaker. Nice house, nice car, and perhaps a missed opportunity in not realising Kallak. But he'll have done well out of it. A nice steady time at a small cap miner. Nothing wrong with that. For him.

I think he'll reply, it won't be particularly long, and it will contain pretty much all the standard lines of mining being important to Sweden, the government doing all it can, people of Sweden being the number one consideration, environment being important (and of course, who better to consult than UNESCO?) etc. So yes, disgruntled of Tunbridge Wells will have received a response. Meanwhile, the Sami are working out how they'll appeal the licence when it is granted etc. And perhaps Kurt will be offered another job elsewhere (bit more cash) given he has done pretty well here in keeping the company afloat/financed from a surprising number of suckers, whoops, "investors", so we get a new CEO and perhaps a new strategy? I'm guessing it can't get any worse than simply sitting on your hands and waiting patiently.
