Hi Swizz. I'm not convinced that First Equity Limited are anything other than a Stockbroking firm. Just as many here buy and sell shares via Barclays or Hargreaves Landsdown, First Equity are a similar type of firm. The key name here is William Black, but you'll see they say it's the 'Estate' of William Black. Black is a well known merchant banker, setting up his own investment company, subsequently dissolved. The fact that it was his 90th birthday this year explains why it's his estate that is active. His family have people investing the money on his behalf - and I'm guessing with Black no longer being an active buy and sell investor, they're relying more on the advice of Rath Dhu Limited to make money. They've worked together on a few shares over the last few years, with no particular outcome aside from making money. For example, CIP Merchant Capital Ltd in Jan 2022, Red Rock Resources (recently) and so on.... . They won't be interested in buying NTQ. Just in making money. I'm guessing the low share price combined with an estimated high IP value made this a particularly attractive play for them.
