I can only find article from May, regarding Lidl selling tests.
https://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/the-at-home-antigen-test-what-do-experts-think-and-how-do-you-use-them-1.4559488
Boson is one I have found. It doesn't appear to have EU self-test approval though, and given no news about this appears available post May, I wonder if they've since been pulled from the shelves.
If there is anyone in Ireland that confirm, that would be great.

I saw this and got a little excited at first, but unfortunately the updates relate to WHO approval, not FDA, and they've been this status for 3 weeks now.
I'm sure it will happen, but unfortunately this isn't news on FDA.
Crikey.. you come across quite angry. I think you probably should step away from the keyboard and go for a walk, or relax doing something different. Markets are closed. Nothing to worry about until tomorrow.
You need to look after your mental health.
Thinkin, SP is doing just fine for me thanks. I'm up on my investment, and more than happy with the pipeline of news that is due to land, which in my opinion is going to trigger a healthy re-rate.
I would have liked, as many would I'm sure, for this to have happened quicker than the timelines we're working in, but apart from a handful of people on this board I'm not sure any of us appreciate the complexities in bringing a world class test to market, with appropriate approvals required to take full advantage of the world wide market opportunities.
I'll know, a bit better, for next time. Every day is a school day.
I'm happy to sit and watch as this plays out.
TecBadger, normally I'd offer to stump up some funds for some poor souls meds... but in Thinkin case the entertainment value is too high, so I'm afraid I'm out.
Flippin heck Swag... if you're invested then you should be pleased with some comms like that.
The US market is likely to be more profitable than the UK Gov contract, which will come in due course also (IMO).
Give it a break mate.
Chill, have a beer, enjoy the weekend.
Of course..if you're not invested, which may well the be case... Carry on.
Sandy, schools are using Orient Gene for onsite testing and FlowFlex for at home testing.
The school guidance also suggested that Innova may be provided for home use, but I think that may just be until stocks are run down.
As with test and trace it looks like FlowFlex/Orient Gene, which are both nasal swab only with pre-filled buffer tubes are the DHSC tests of the moment.
I think this bodes well for Mologic/Visitect as our test follows the same process, so no complicated mixed messaging needed from DHSC if they change tests. Not to mention, of course, that Mologic/Visitect are UK developed, uk manufactured, and performs better.
As per the Investor Presentation, all UK diagnostics manufacturing, combined, would not be able to meet all the needs of the UK market, let alone the big wide world.
In addition to 9m school kids being asked to continue testing, twice a week, there is test and trace which DHSC are still pushing strongly

And in addition there are core NHS, care homes and approved Key industries too.
It really does stand, even after this time, that Omega are in a strong position to sell all they can make.
And the more that is understood of Covid, the longer it looks like it will be with us.
The longer it's with us, the more revenue we can earn, more opportunity to expand, and may even result in higher P/E ration too.
I think we're in for a tough Autumn/Winter, in the UK alone, even with a heavily vaccinated population. Look at Israel as an example.
> UK Schools back this week
> More people back to work (my work place is pushing the messaging of twice weekly testing)
> No enforced isolation for close contact cases
> Inclimate weather inbound
> New variants emerging
> Spikes and Waves continuing to be cyclic globally
> Vaccines becoming less trusted/effective
I personally think delay in news on the DHSC front is due to Mologic/Visitect being lined up as the selected test, meaning no TT needed, just fire up the £17m loan kit and off we go.
Let's not forget, too, that there is a whole wide world out there needing tests, with Omega putting a lot of emphasis on the US market at the moment.
I won't deny it's been a tough hold, at times, but every time I look at the fundamentals and the roadmap of what's to come it becomes a lot less tough.. and just a minor frustration that it doesn't happen sooner.
It's certainly a share to help one with Patience issues.
To all genuine LTH.. good luck.
Not If approval is granted.
Looks like EU approval may and sooner than FDA, which I'd not expected.
Nice update.
Who's "everyone"?
What "promises"?
The news will come when it's ready. Shredz post yesterday supports that FDA approval could land any time soon.
EU approval could be anytime also.
After that the opportunities will be a plenty to sell all the tests they have stockpiled, and more.
D'oh.. complimentary.. not commentary
Tester, being invested you will be aware of the numerous news points due to drop at pretty much any moment.
Todays welcome rise is likely attributed to association with ABDX, and them stating that the ABC-19 is a commentary test to the Biosure test.
It's likely, also, that many sitting on the sidelines are starting to buy in in anticipation of;
FDA approval
EU self-test approval
ABC-19 validation in a number of countries
DHSC test selection for Omega to manufacture
Confirmation of DHSC facilitated discussions with developers
And no doubt many more
...that when I retire I find myself with far more interesting things to do with my time than trolling/typing crap on here all day, every day. Maybe trolling is a step up from burger van 'management'.
I'm pretty sure there are more enjoyable things to do in life.
If indeed certain individuals are actually retired.
The RTC test is an Antibody test, and the government did use it. They just isn't pay for it. Yet.
School testing is Antigen LFT testing.
Yes, disappointing that a UK AG test isn't being used in schools, but there are plenty of other places they will be used.
Does anyone know where SureScreen tests are being used?
I'm sorry to read of your incontinence issues.
I guess your sense of humour and mine are somewhat different.
What I find funny though is that those very same reasons you post are the ones another person posted recently as signs of a take-over.
Make your bloody mind up.
Gary, I’m not sure this is the plaice for you.
Always fishing for people to take your bait.
For heavens hake, cod you please just go and have your BB roe-mance with FFB somewhere else.
That would be fintastic.
And in rolls the comedy roadshow.
Good morning Regulator.
Happy Friday.
Sorry MrIndia, you're right.. that was rude.
We should have been far more polite to your question.
" At what point do we cut our losses if no news or do we just keep holding for months or years? "
None, as I'm sure you are aware, can answer that as that would be financial advise.
Everyone has their own appetite for risk.
Some are more researched than others.
So I guessed it must have been a rhetorical question, and that's why I didn't give it the credit it deserved.
The decision is yours.
Good luck.
