I haven't been any place that need evidence of a negative test, so the ones I have taken aren't registered anywhere.
They have been negative, and that's all I needed know. I know that's the same for a lot of my family.
Only the kids have needed to register their school tests.

At that time "Only 96 million of the 691 million coronavirus lateral flow test in England have been registered"
People are ordering them, and likely using them, but just not registering the results.
This behaviour will change when proof of negative test, sometimes alongside proof of vaccine, are needed for entry to events.

Further approvals are required for self-test (home-use), whether that be under EUA (as Innova was) or through full assessment/approval process which the Mologic/Visitect test is going through currently.

Agreed, AZ shouldn't have stated on 2 or 3 occasions now that the accounts would have been published on X date, and should have put a bit of strategic thought to that up front... but hey ho.
Ultimately, the reason for the delay makes good sense, with a better story to tell when they are published.

What did you do to the RNS that you feel the need to apologise?

I think there's room for multiple UK developed, DHSC selected, tests.
The performance of SureScreen is very good.
Mologic's has now been assessed a number of times, independently, and proven consistent in S&S, time for results, and for me most importantly the sampling method is proving easy to use with no impact to results when self testing.
Avacta still have some way to go I think, in terms of CE marking/validation/independent testing/self test approval etc..
SureScreen appear to be ahead of the game (given they has had 2 orders to date), but the sampling method is not ideal.

Mologic is now, for me, the test the Gov need to be choosing, but let's not forget that it bodes very well for the DHSC selected test, but more so for our UK and International market with the Visitect branded test.

My hands are already numb for having sat on them so long, retaining my ODX holding... but today is an easy sitting on hands day.

Yes, rjwk, I think that's exactly why they shared this information packed RNS to confirm the terms of the acquisition.. It's all a ploy to cover a one week delay in publishing the accounts, that aren't actually due until next month anyway.
