And let's not forget Kazakh billionaire Askar Alshinbayev, who initially acquired 59,676,544 shares, or 6.19% of the company. This acquisition was made through a significant fundraising round, as usual, via a share placement on July 11, 2023, shortly after the announcement of the completion of the Front-End Engineering Studies (FEED) in March 2023. A timely fundraising round that suggested (a misleading wink) rapid development. Before the Energean farm debacle.
Note: He invested more to hold 77,060,505 shares, or 7.86% (during the share price collapse, so probably due to a reduction in his position, as was the case for most of us).
Curiously, he hasn't sold his shares. I wonder if some of his contacts will also invest? With 7.86%, he is, after AP, the largest individual shareholder and would therefore have some influence on votes and discussions. This is all speculation, of course.
