What are we expecting at tomorrow’s opening? AVCT have been here before, seems like the last few weekends have resulted in a sleepless Sunday night wandering what the 0800 hr bell brings on Monday. MASSIVE news late Friday from Bidstat of a £8bn tender. Need to keep it all in perspective, no guarantees any of it will go to AVCT but as a shareholder why shouldn’t I be optimistic? The jewel in the crown is the cancer therapies but a chunk of the £8bn pie would set this company up unbelievably well. Realistic thoughts on tomorrow’s opening and close anyone? I will keep a record and announce who came closest after the 1630 hrs bell tomorrow. ‘Per Adua Ad Astra’

Radio 5 live discussing the possibility of people buying lft tests from pharmacies and potentially using the results to negate the need for certain quarantine/isolation periods in the future. And to cap it off, Covid testing required for students prior to being allowed back. Massive potential here. If ODX have been stockpiling as some said yesterday then they have a jump start on competition. Good luck to holders - hope to join you at 8am. Please no RNS at 7 otherwise I fear I may have missed a golden opportunity.

I am currently not invested BUT Interested to read the post earlier titled “Allowed to sell to pharmacies now”. So I decided to spend half an hour researching. I have pasted below the news from 16 Feb 21 (only a week ago) from Abingdon Health and Omega Diagnostics touting their ABC-19 Covid test. That sounds good. So I thought I would see how much the test costs to order on line (to offer an indicative price per unit). You can order 25 tests for £250 plus VAT for 25 from the manufacturer. That’s £10 a pop. Yesterday’s confirmation of green light for sales to pharmacies has huge potential and an extra revenue stream that has not been factored in. Looking for some spare cash to have a little dabble. Will be happy to get in under £1, but not sure how long this entry price will be available once all the dots are joined up.

(Alliance News) - Abingdon Health PLC and Omega Diagnostics Group PLC on Tuesday noted data which showed a rapid Covid-19 test with which they are involved had an accuracy of over 97%.
Rapid tests manufacturer Abingdon and medical diagnostics firm Omega noted an announcement by the UK Rapid Test Consortium about the AbC-19 Covid-19 test, which aims to identify whether a patient has Covid-19-fighting antibodies.
A study performed by scientists at Public Health England and the Universities of Bristol, Warwick and Cambridge assessed four lateral flow rapid virus tests, including AbC-19.
Data showed the AbC-19 was "highly accurate when tested on samples from individuals previously positive for the virus by PCR and from samples collected pre-pandemic".
Omega added: "All devices tested had accuracy of above 92% with the AbC-19 Rapid Test showing the highest accuracy at 97.3%.

I posted earlier in the week that I was expecting the SP to be sat at £2.50 by the end of next week following the last RNS and upcoming news on Monday. I couldn’t understand the SP on Thursday/Friday this week. I thought to myself “What the hell do you need to put a rocket under the SP”. It looks like I got the answer yesterday with the Huff post. That said, this company has only just started its journey and will be around for many years after C-19. Good luck all with your strategies, whether holding long, top slicing or looking for an entry point. My magnanimous nature dictates that I wish the ODX crew well also, after all, it looks like we are teaming up with their manufacturing team. Their success feeds our growth.

Great news this morning. RNS should push the SP to £2 just before the weekend. Big news on LFT expected 22 Feb. I would be disappointing if we are not sat around the £2.50 mark by the end of next week. Well done all LTH. Our faith in AVCT has been rewarded.

REFRACTORY in medical terms means:

1 : resisting control or authority : stubborn, unmanageable. 2a : resistant to treatment or cure a refractory lesion. b : unresponsive to stimulus. c : immune, insusceptible after recovery they were refractory to infection.

The Director's Closed Period is typically regarded as the one-month period preceding the release of a company's quarterly results, and the two-month period before the release of its annual results. So based on that, today is actually the last day they could buy in - if they haven't done so already As I write SP up 3% on the day.

Genuinely surprised and, if I am honest, shocked at the SP. I would like to agree with many here that this is well overcooked (and on balance - I do). My one concern is there does not appear to have been and Director Buys - why wouldn’t they raid their piggy banks at these prices.... ? It would be reassuring to get an RNS today showing they have. If that happens then you can be sure we have found the floor, if not then those pesky shorters will continue to bite our ankles.

What a week we’ve had on no news. This is looking very good. Consolidate over 1.50 today and roll on next week. Thoughts for today are steady start and the usual uptick mid-afternoon. Today’s uptick is likely to be steeper due to FOMO over the weekend. Very, very excited with this one and to think I joined the party for the AVA6000, this is all great news (speculation).

Give it ‘til 9am when it has settled down a bit and we’ll know the likely direction this share is heading very short term. Like many, I bought on Friday at what appeared a great price (£1.32). Could have/Should have waited to get in at £1.20 - hindsight hey! Good luck LTH and STH alike. Will bail when the SP gets to £1.40 (no guarantees it will anytime soon - but it is likely we will see that sometime this week). Let’s see.

SP will most likely drop a bit this morning. The way I have read daily fluctuations is that wherever the SP is at at 2pm, it tends to rise a bit in the last 2 hrs of trading. All bodes well if it can finish above £1.30. My thoughts and I hope I am wrong is that it will be shy of £1.30 at stumps.

Interesting to read the posts this weekend. It does look like the drop ‘may’ have been overcooked on Friday as seen by the after hours trading at 1.32. Some people wrote that the RNS on Friday contained no new news. Actually it did - suspect is facing additional charges. We don’t know what these charges specifically relate to and any knock on effect this may have to the SP (not necessarily negative). All things considered, it will be an interesting and potentially volatile trading session ahead. If no bad news comes out next week then I expect PFC to be trading in the range of 140 - 145 by the end of the week. Let’s see.

Nice little spurt late trading session yesterday. No news this morning - not necessarily a bad thing. It will be good to finish in the 130s today. I suspect there will be lots of interest late this afternoon which (hopefully) should do the trick. GLA.

Just done a dummy sell of 15K shares with HL; I was offered 123.50. Nice rise today and there should be more to come over the coming days now it has broken through the 105 ema. Is this the start if the breakout?

Daniel. Agree with you. SP now showing 112 - 114. Not the first time HL have had 'gremlins' in their system.
