Ob, indeed, it’s also interesting to see the reception that Eurasia has had in recent sessions and I would also suggest the district scale potential of Pedra Branca, is everything and more that Monchetundra offers, especially taking into account that it is more diverse, when you add Nickel and Rhodium into the equation, interesting times ahead,.....GL S

Just as a final thought, an Oz acquisition of Jangada gives them an immediate strategic holding in ValOre, with the added win of a potential tier one Vanadium/Titanium asset in the same region, plus they have a well funded partner to work with and Oz also end up with a London listing, that they have considered in the past, fantasy Friday...lol,...GL S

Bf, I have always thought that Oz would feature at some stage and perhaps with the Discovery Group backing via ValOre , they will now be more inclined to do so, the synergies are obvious and Oz certainly have the financial backing, as do ValOre to do something meaningful, I am mindful it may just be a coincidence that all of these factors have happened within a few months of each other and Luis has just invested a further £78k into Jan, one to watch?,......GL S

Interesting to note that Oz Minerals have just updated the market in recent days and they have decided to progress with works at Pedra Branca, you may wonder the significance of this?, in light of Jangada and ValOre, the connection is Luis Azevedo, who sits on the board of all three companies and being mindful of ValOre who are also working on the ground at PB, it is interesting to note that a stated objective of Oz Minerals, is to identify “operating cost opportunities”, could a meeting of minds be and coordinated working be on the horizon?, perhaps and one to watch in my opinion,.....GL S

Bf, agreed, it was very notable today what little stock was on offer, pretty much from the off today, whilst the debate continues in regards to the origins of the director buys, what cannot be ignored is the knock on effect and that a significant line of shares is now further secured, it could be an interesting couple of weeks, as we approach what should be a period of significant news flow,...GL S

DC, that was also my line of thinking and if it is a declared major position, I am sure that we will see a shareholder notification form (TR1) at some point in the days ahead,.....GL S

(Alliance News) - Jangada Mines PLC on Wednesday said its chair and a non-executive director bought shares in the company due to their view of the quality of the company's 100%-owned Pitombeiras vanadium project in Brazil.

Non-Executive Director Luis Azevedo bought 6.0 million shares at a price of 1.3 pence each on Tuesday, totalling GBP78,000. Executive Chair Brian McMaster bought the same amount at the same price, also on Tuesday.

"The purchases are reflective of the two directors' views as to the quality of the company's 100%-owned Pitombeiras vanadium project in Brazil, where recent metallurgical rests demonstrated that the magnetite hosted vanadium mineralisation responded very well to magnetic separation, and its 26% shareholding in TSXV-listed ValOre Metals Corp," Jangada explained.

Shares in Jangada closed up 8.6% at 1.575 pence in London on Wednesday.

AL, setting aside the debate regarding the origins of the shares, today’s news has certainly added a new dimension to the the near term prospects, with meaningful news expected both sides of the Atlantic, a £156k line of equity now locked away in secure hands is not to be dismissed under any circumstances, regardless of the origins,........GL S

W5, a small amount of detective work should get you the answer and fair play to the board for facilitating this “off market” and ensuring the shares are now in very secure hands,...GL S

It certainly is, plus it is another 12m shares locked away, on what is already a very tight free float,...GL S

Indeed and not a huge surprise considering what has been achieved in recent months and taking account the current asset value disconnection, plus it is also very reflective of what JP is undertaking at ValOre,...GL S

As a point of reference on ValOre, it is worth noting that Canaccord facilitate a significant amount of the insider buying and they are very active in the market today buying ValOre shares and one to keep an eye on,.....GL S

Ob, all good thank you and I hope all is well your end, share price predictions are not my thing really,...lol, I take a much longer view and focus on the asset value and the potential of that value to be increased and also to be realised, in recent months the Jangada board have taken significant steps forward, the PB deal is now worth circa £8m in value of cash and shares, with very real potential to advance both near and medium term, plus we now have sizeable exposure to the Uranium sector through Angilak and you would at some stage expect the share price will recognise and reflect all of that , especially taking into account the current Jan market cap of £3m and that’s before any material developments with PW, so I would suggest the potential is to be significantly higher than where we are now,........GL S

Bf21, I think it is very unlikely at this stage and it was interesting to note in the most recent update, the board made it very clear that they are fully funded, it is fair to say in the past, that the funding question was a significant weight and drag around Jangada and a number of wrong turns were taken, I think this has played a significant part in what appears to be a new strategy developed by the board, whereby the focus is ensuring the assets can appreciate in significant value to Jangada shareholders and still be progressed without the need for dilution and with this in mind, I would also also hope that a partnership approach, something similar to the agreement with ValOre/Discovery is the logical step to take with PW, we may have just inadvertently established a far more sensible way to progress asset potential and value, without the need to follow the typical aim format,,...GL S
