Despite my/our obvious continued frustration with SP, I still have to agree with you.
Faith tested, but the value will come out, I just hope its in this lifetime :)
'Predominant' indicators are that the short term Li weakness / will pass into deficit. I know that many in the outside market will be sceptical about that, but when you look deeper, that seems to me where its headed. And we will be ready. China malaise will pass for example, cycles, well they are just that ..
Agree. well said.
Real jobs, real currency, real investment. And a BOD that really have looked at this from the ground / community up.
Albeit, I'm afraid their enumeration is too high now imo, without having sold any product yet. Lets not go down that road, I'll leave that can of worms there.
'Unhappy and dissapointed', blimey it's the best rates they've got ever in Ghana I believe, better than all the gold etc.
It's a good deal for Ghana. Take bird in hand not two in bush. Old saying maybe, they should heed.
IndeedGK, some lo spod numbers in there, 1428 prediction eye-catching as sub our dfs. Surprised not more comment on this.
Many articles abound on the market. It appears to me prices may not be good '25, when we're building, but a deficit looms beyond that, when we're producing. There are many many variables and I admit there seems to be new supply cropping up everywhere. But, its resource. And as we know resource in ground and a functioning mine are stratospherically different things. Not sure the wider public know this.
They've found a load of Li just outside beautiful ancient Rome causing excitement, don't know why, it'll never ever be permitted. Akin to the difference owning a load of illiquid assets like property worth 'x' in owners opinion, vs having cleared readies in a bank account.
I love that guy, the way he talks 'listen to me, I want to tell you something'.
And I don't mean that disrespectfully, he's on top of his brief no mistake.
Clever guy imo.
Very animated, refreshingly different to conventional UK, very engaging.
Sounds positive
On another tack, the SP is currently 'casually' showing near 10% up, just seems like pot luck presently. Certainly hard to rationalise it, up on next to nothing new, down on good news ... seems to me sentiment or 'punting' trumping good hard data led research
Bottom drawer was just I was thinking.
Unexciting times.
I remain convinced this will turn, as will the market, I just hope this lithium bull isn't kidding himself.
Signing off for a while, it's half term and I'm boarding a ferry.
Sometimes it helps (me) to focus on something else, wake me please when sentiment returns! ATB
I think the uncomfortable truth atm is we're going to have wait for the market to turn.
Take piedmont, down over 40% last 6 months.
Sentiment needs to change. Don't think our BOD can do much other than stick to the plan. As for adding, it's personal decisions but I see no quick money to be made.
A lot of the serious commentators out there seem to settle on 30k as the 'sweetspot' LT sale price for refined, that satisfies that eternal struggle between incentive to mine/ supply/ refine, and what OEMs and end consumers will stump up.
If, if, that plays out, we're in the money imo with all in produce cost something like 6/700 for spod and sale 3500. Reference 'If u've got the rock'..
Like u, conclusion, I'm in. Are there risks, hell yes, we just had a ML and dropped, unpalatable, but fact. So anyone has to proceed knowing what they get into.
Just watched that Ted. When you hear the sincerity on both sides, with a clear desire of shared outcomes, it's hard not to foresee a very positive long term outlook ahead.
To reiterate, as if anyone needs it. Its that 3 % drilled bit that is the big big long term appeal. The sky really could be the limit.
Morning,
Question. If I'm missing something just polite tell me that's fine, then I'm corrected happily so.
Do the ML conditions queer the pitch with PLL. After say 5 years if CAA Livista produce a GH refinery, spod door to PLL Tenessee and others shuts. Vis a vis Ghana green minerals policy. PLL had signed up to LOM 15 years of spod, not hydroxide in carbonate? Problem?
FWIW if you'd have given me 50/1 on a red close on the day of ML release, I wouldn't have taken it.
If nothing else, its a lesson in never assuming anything in this game and staying real / sensible
Better times ahead, ALL can forge on now, sp will catch up eventually. gl
For the uninitiated
in 2017 we had a few rig drill results bags of enthusiasm and little else. Orphaned (not funded, no real proactive funding plans), no PFS / DFS , m license not even on the horizon, not even a 'thing'
It went to 47p. Strange world indeed. Different times.
Morning
Whilst I'm suspending my frank disbelief we are red, in line with comments on here, the value will rise like the cream in coffee, in time.
The NPV is there, it will come out eventually. The derisk event releases this to a wider II base, thats the key I think.
Nonetheless, I do need to sit down :(
I did just always have that inkling of a perverse reaction though, sentiment/ AIM is v poor atm
Sit tight an add when sensible my thoughts.
Sentiment often trumps 'real value' (wrongly imo). Its tough. It will change. gl
