Yes it is.
I happen to think there will be a delay and theres little the BOD can do about it. Its with GH, and I don't think GH have worked out where they are yet. Its politics now.
However, being positive - I also will be the first the congrats the BOD if they can pull it off. Genuinely
It feels binary, but not completely, if H1 slips the resource isn't going anywhere, but that early mover advantage depletes. If it goes deep long grass, ops will also be stood down. Prelims don't get paid without ink. I work in large construction ops side, albeit not mining. I tend to speak a bit like Keith, who is ops through and through imo
All to play for. GL
Great that you are reassured, and that you believe them.
Vast amounts of money are won and lost on AIM. As long as you're on the right horse its fine.
Disclaimer: not to be confused with a negative post. Just stay within limits, when its red and you bet heavily on black, you're out the game. NH I reckon has it to spare, not so sure about the others. Not a game for the faint of heart for sure.
Trouble is, we're not in total control of the game..
To truly have a handle on if it on for this q I think you'd need to be on the inside.
And of course for those on that inside, they're not permitted to disclose anyway
Interesting times though to see how it unfolds here
Wish it were that simple Teddy
I think we'll get there, or rather GH will, I do, but I can see that its a fine path they walk to placate many political and economic factions.
Project is ready to go imo, I'm largely done with Project Economics side for the moment. We have the defined plan now.
Eyes down for a full house ..
Is it fair to say that theres a lot going on in the background to get this ML over the line
I think thats probably a fair statement
I've no doubt they'll be some horse-trading on both sides, to be expected. Macro picture adds that extra dimension, Ghana is struggling, inflation 50 odd percent, IMF loan pending, elections next year etc etc
Appears to be trying to pile the pressure on saying what we 'will' do doing.
Unfortunately we will be doing not much without the ML. The BOD are not GH Ministers.
Long termers know the project economics upside down now. Politics is part of the equation now.
Whilst I think its coming to a head, a private Company can say what it wants in an RNS, Ministers allow it.
All about the ML now. GH has something valuable, but its not in good shape financially, and must not be seen let anything out the door without very best value to the GH public purse. A difficult balence in fairness.
There's a school of thought that Directors buying large amounts of stock means they 'know' something. Whilst it certainly inspires confidence, I'm more circumspect.
Your use of the word bottle, which I didn't take offence at, was thought provoking. All I can reiterate is bottle counts for nowt, if u are barking up the wrong tree. They need to be right.
Not for the first time, not to be confused with a negative post from me.
Quiet on here, no problem, there's not a lot to say whilst we await the ML, or the ML with an as yet undeclared Govt 'twist'..
Ewoyaa / EW1.0. 35mT. Grant ML. Export Spod. Sort PLL out, maintain jurisdictional integrity. Recognise early mover advantage, take 600 jobs, nice earner. Recognise no time or funds yet for refining. Massive capex.
Incept contractually 'EW2.0: 35- 70mT, refining', and EW3.0. Why 3.0, because everyone mutes 70mT, I think it could exceed 100mT, that'll need more thinking as things evolve.
Give GH the times it needs to give it a shot at building a refining plant, take several years. IMF, world Bank, EW earn in, sofa. Up to them, masters of their destiny. When EW 1.0 is empty, have the conversation, 'ready GH?'
If not EW2.0 continues as a spod exporter. Rinse and repeat 3.0.
U know things have gotton bad when we start talking about uk & Ireland Lithium , which frankly is a pin prick globally, rather than our own LOL
I feel like ending on a positive. What we're all gunning for is that magic ML. Which statistically should happen 'soon'.
and when it does, we should have much better times ahead. GL
I think some of its in Cornwall, but I don't follow uk Li that closely.
Good luck with UK permitting, bad enough trying to build a few semis
UK seems to be limping into life battery wise, miles behind everyone else ..
Someone on Tele started talking about their 'bottle'.
I don't care about that. Have they got it right is what matters. They are currently underwater on their purchases. There is concern. We need an injection of confidence from somewhere. 22p. Fact. Not good.
Classic. Theres some political decision making (and posturing) to work though imo, I did say that.
For avoidance of doubt on my own position, I'm holding mine tight.
The pressure is on Ghana right now imo, the are being forced to 'do' something, in around the next 5 months.
To reiterate, PLL and others won't wait, can't.
Guys
Don't expect anyone to agree with my personal opinion. I have no more knowledge than is out there, but I am well versed on ALL.
I think the ML will be delayed, because I think politically Ghana is not ready to commit, I think they're split over refining revenue. Its not the Companys fault.
I truly hope I'm wrong. Sorry.
