The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
These sorts of positive articles abound, someone tell our sellers :))
I've given up predicting any bottom here, but we appear to have stabilised just a little today.
A bit of calm needed, theres been glimmers of panic. Ship needs to just stay steady for a bit.
Some MIIF or Govt news would be a great help right now, need an injection of confidence from somewhere. Our many positives, the market seems to have forgotten them ... just unloved atm
Look, there's no glossing it, I too was a bit dissapointed with the dfs. They tried to sell old fashioned more cost and more time, it didn't wash. The case stands, NPV etc, but the market punishes changes to the plan. If ur long ur ok I think. Neil oversold the dfs. People are cute, they need more money, they need more time, 'AIM AIM AIM'. Ewoyaa was lean and quick, it still works, just a bit less lean and quick. Note BOD, the market is a severe mistress.
It's painful atm, very. But just reflect, has anything materially 'bad' happened?
Aside from the sp, whats materially changed? Capex and dates, yeah a bit, but also early income streams..
Has the spod price collapsed? Just saying.. gl
Will a tr1 appear when they're out, or do we just infer, or wait for a dgr update or other corporate update and find out that way
Be good to know definitively when that particular milestone / millstone (!) happens, if thats feasible for such events.
Its as significant an event as a many an RNS
I'm sketchy on dates and exact percentages in what follows, feel free to correct
Must be about about 18 months ago Mr Mather mentioned that dgr 'still' had 9%, that word indicated strongly (to me) their intentions
I think dgr are now at about 1%
My glimmer, my positive, is that this massive millstone of selling seems to becoming painfully to an end and when it does, surely we'll be set on a fairer course.
FWIW I yhink BOD have done and continue to do all they realistically can. Regards the wider market I think NH mused ' c'est la vie', which at first I thought rather flippant. But frankly never a truer word, from a man who recently bought a large chunk slightly higher. One company can't change overall market malaise, you have to let it pass. Interest rates and macro have drained liquidity, then dgr. But it will pass, for sound companies. Tin hat time.
I read widely about the space we're in, as most do on here. Partly, I hunt for weakness in what we're pursuing. Let's face it the share price is awful, we're not loved. So presumably something is wrong, somethings 'up'. But I can't find it.
Hard rock vs brine, we're better, spod outlook, robust. ML, looking excellent. Raising, don't have to. The othe 50%, more valuable by the month. substition- nothing brewing, sodium only does short range; tenure, 3% drilled. THREE PERCENT. I could go on.
I'm simply amazed by the sp. Amazed. Can only be dgr selling or something, because by all other logic, we have the rock, it's fabulously in demand.
If someone can come on here and destroy my argument, please do I want you too, because I just cannot see chinks.
I just bought. But market is ugly.
In this environment I wouldn't like to advise anyone else what to do.
And I certainly wouldn't want to predict the bottom
I've used funds that I don't need for a long time, in till production in fact.
'Bargains' out there, but stay sensible.
Mood music all points towards attracting a new II(s) to bring the step change. And I think that II will be forthcoming.
Agree MIIF appear to be waiting for ML; all I would say add is when ML occurs, its crunch time for MIIF, they've 'been interested' for a long time now. Personally I glaze a bit when MIIIF pipe up again, but thats my bad.
Agree. Its been a difficult week since dfs, but with continued detailed comms and explaining, I personally feel the clouds are clearing to reveal clearer skies ahead.
And beyond recovering from the shock of the unexpected dip, I feel we're actually changing .. see how KM is coming to the fore - we're getting into long lead procurement very clearly now - hes out and out ops - 'its' happening. imo the 'needle' is switching from less about ML 'ifs', ML becoming a given, to more about production milestones.
Another nuance - the mood music feels to me like we're waiting for instis to DD the dfs, and come in .. theres comments here and there hinting to that effect.
Let the dfs work its way through, its been a lot to digest. The early income streams bode well for example, it all joins up if you study it deeply.gl
So many positive indicators out there just makes our recent sp action here even more unfathomable, ?
Anyhow, lets see what the presentation brings.
FWIW I carried out my intention and picked up some more today for my sins, they're in the bottom draw for now ..
If anything like that NPV can be realised, which I believe it can, this works, period.
As we all know the DM is always right.
ALL sits top of weeks AIM fallers, fair enough. Comment / reason is given as broker has cut target.
Is this a fact or an error, could someone confirm which broker and what target has come down from. Thx
Unbelievably considering how I felt earlier in the week, I'm gonna pick up some more Monday if this price holds. Despite all the endless bumps, the asset stands, the case stands, and it's becoming clear to me that hard rock is the place to be, even better than brines. ML is a given now imo, there's too much traction for Govt to do anything silly. Last statement not made flippantly, based on wide evidence, interviews and so forth.
The reaction to the dfs really shook me, to the point I haven't been minded to post. Provisionally I was actually really annoyed about the 2 crux issues, the increased capex, and extended timeliness, to the point of feeling betrayed. I've been here a long time and spent time researching.
As I've digested the reasoning, I've eased. John Meyers podcast comments have helped (me anyhow) hugely. It might help others. My biggest fear is dillutive raising, it's classic AIM. However it appears we won't need to. I think the 75mill cheque JM refers to was us. We might still raise, but not destructively so.
I think we're gonna be OK, but it's been a really tough reaction to swallow. Really didn't expect to be at 25 after the dfs. No-one did. ATB
