Isn’t hindsight amazing, the amount of times we thought we saw the bottom on this one.

Obviously zero could happen but it could also to a lot of other questions. Good to see Spaldy are still adding , hopefully not to loan to hammer further but you never know.

This whole episode has left me quite calm rather then stressed, As they say you learn more from your failures then success.

My SIPP and ISA have been hammered but I’m still far better off then a lot of those people with no savings or on zero hours contracts that will potentially lose their homes if they take time off work, also start to remember my family is far more important then a red digit on a screen isn’t important through these dark days.

This in fact motivates me to be at the top of my game and to get the money

As some may have suggested, if Matlot is a shorter he’s a master at his game and I salute his skill despite being on the losing side. As others have said, still is that had to press the commit button on to buy.

Thanks Nov, on one side I’ve been thinking I’ve lost a fair amount, on the other side I’m thinking it will bounce back.

It’s just trying to time re-entry, see a lot of potential out there.

In hindsight , I was thinking of taking money out a month or so back but let emotion override it, a good lesson again for me and hopefully a little wiser

Quick question, when the market is getting destroyed why do they still permit shorting? Surely this can only hasten the demise of companies on the edge

good post, there is potentially a lot of money to be made if we can get the timing right (obvious) I know.

Left some of my money in various shares for to long but hoping to recover some once it starts to level out, slow burn back up but I’ve still got 17 - 20 years to retirement

My highest buy was 3.75 over a while back, maybe confusing me with someone else. I’ve averaged down over time but hopefully it will start to average out... time will tell

I got back into Metro at 1.06 earlier, not sure how I got that through as nothing else would buy.

I just sold all of my holdings earlier at 1.26, a loss but I can’t want this tank any further.

I’m holding the cash to see how this turns out and then may try to reinvest once the bottom is hit if such a thing exist with this one.

Started at 3.75 and been averaging down ever since, thought I hit the bottom months ago when purchased at 1.56 and it went back up. Likewise got a load again when in the 1.60s thinking we had hit the bottom again around the GS times

Is this all down to Corona or are the shorts playing to escape or they know some bad news is coming ? I have no idea at this stage.

What do we think, it's odd Odey and go reducing but being replaced straight away by other shorters.

The asset value is still there, surely at this point they should just sell off all the bits and it would be far more valuable. Given the news of Flybe etc, could this be going south. Is there something they could be hiding away throat the risk office exposed and was given the boot for.

I wouldn’t re-enter unless there is some positive news, every time we think we have hit the bottom .

Another load of bad news and it drops , starts to recover and gets hit again. I’m starting to wonder if this is a sinking ship carillon style.

Thing I don’t get is why the company appears to sit idle as the share price gets decimated.

There are some very odd going on's here, new chief risk officer booted out after two weeks, weird transactions by GS, no directory buys plus all this negative news.

Finances, customer base is fairly sound with slow growth etc
