Think it’s a given that some grease payments will be happening given where it’s based, maybe a reason why they are looking at a nomad who may look the other way.

As long as we get a new one and the flanks get approved we are heading in the right direction, palladium cost have stabilised and should hopefully start to rise again soon.

Noticed some of those names from that BB, I don’t even look at it anymore.

As you say, you can’t have a conversation or a counter balance to the constant ramping without getting mobbed and insulted.

This BB is a nice place and we have some decent posters on both sides to keep the balance, also some great knowledge and experience on here.

Funny thing is every time a rumour comes up it floods with nonsense for a few days and then calms
Down once they move onto the next board

Cost of palladium per oz is still good, providing they have what they say and the flanks are approved there is good value in the business, positive RNS the other day in general.

Anyway, back to Metro. Wonder when/if we will get any director buys or RNS soon.

Im starting to have my doubts with EUA, the flanks are also taking ages to approve. I guess we will know by the end of April what is going on.

For me, the first thing is for it to come out of suspension and then not lose what’s invested, if the flanks gets approved I will make a call at the point.

Agreed, I think this is a good long term recovery .

I managed to get in after the first crash down from 120 to 30p and made some nice profit on it and got a dividend. Sold a while back and brought back in again, this share has been good to me over the last year.

For me, I will hold at this price for recovery providing nothing dramatic happens to the business

Working in IT for many years I can appreciate the technology but does give a ln u fair advantage and the manipulation as we are seeing here is crazy

That's a fair point, to be honest before I even knew what shorting was I had invested in Odey's fund.

Just went though HL looking at funds and this looked like a winner and had some good returns for a year or so.

Also, tried to invest into the ethical funds but sadly they don't perform very world. I guess that's the problem, we all want to do the right thing but we also want to make money

Agree, personally I think it's unethical especially when people are losing jobs left right and centre, each to their own though.

Thanks for sharing that article earlier Nov, very good reading. The graphs with the dips for the different scenarios is really interesting, if you can get your timing right the recovery could be immense (the bit I usually get wrong)

I've made a few nice profits of Cost Group, up 74% in 3 days which is unheard of for me, skimmed the profits and going to hold as cash.

A lot of stocks look like they are having a bad couple of days, ultimately if we start to open up and the infections death rates go up that will hit the markets badly, what we really need is some reliable testing for the whole population to see how many people have/had it.

Wasn’t forced, they handed this back voluntarily.

I’m sure this was in the annual report a couple of months back

Thanks Amers, I’ve been keeping my eye on AMl, dipped my toe in ages ago and got out, I love the Aston Brand but wary of business, with stroll practically running it should get a boost especially when they rebrand Racing point F1 team to Aston Martin , lots of brand awareness there in 2020 which should help drive sales of the DBX

Likewise, I brought in as a long term hold in my SIPP, may take them a while to get back to where they were. It I'm in no rush.

I think we all thought we have hit the bottom on this one many times, I remember last year when o purchased at 350 lost, then finally got more at 2 and 1.50 and now look at us ;0) I sold out on a loss. It got quite a few when we were back down in the 70s, hopefully it comes good for everyone

Good advice Theosus, better to get out with a small profit (bigger also) then sit on a loss as many of us have done with Metro.

Cost group now up 34%, seems to be very unloved and no talk due to being in the build trade, a few of these little gems kicking around that get little love and a huge fall from grace. The building sector should start to rebound shortly
