Everything has been hammered today with the shock of oil and the Who report last night, fingers crossed as everyone starts to come out of hibernation we will see a nice slow consistent recovery, unless good news I’ve learnt anything that jumps dramatically usually does the same in reverse

Agreed, I’m done with trying to constantly predict what is going to happen.

I’ve invested in what I think are a number of companies with good longer turn recovery, saga being one of those.

If it was just a cruise business I would be worried.

Still great to see a reduction, short tracker is usually ahead of what you see on LSE as an FYI

I see it as 0.24 Ennismore and another fund, Ennismore were previously at .087.

Shorts now appear to be at just above 5%, better then Metro so I’m happy.

Agreed, it’s a true British carrier also unlike BA who are now owned by IAG.

I travel a fair bit for work to the US and EU, nearly always use BA and some of their planes to the US are awful out of date 747-400s unless you are on the NYC, LA or SFO routes. Did my first flight via Virgin not long before this all kicked off and it was c a better experience. Nice clean 787 Dreamliner instead of the clunky old BA 747.

Being a customer of mine plus a share holder , I want to see Rolls Royce bounce back soon, here’s hoping they bail out Virgin.

If they don’t the Monopoly from BA will be awful.

Being an F1 and big motor sport supporter, I'm definitely glad that the likes of Wolff and Stroll are on board.

There have been rumours for a while about Toto Wolff running F1 from a commercial perspective or doing something else, what else is there for him to win at Merc F1?

Given the global climate they may back out of F1 , given Wolff and Stroll are specialist at turning companies around with a lover of motorsport. Would be great to see Tota at Aston as the CEO, could maybe also lure away Hamilton to finish up his career if the vision in right.

He did the same at Merc having left Mclaren, everyone thought it was a bad move but he knew that the plans were from Brawn , Lauda and Wolff. The fact this years Racing Point is a clone of last years Merc this should put Aston toward the front of the midfield. Great for marketing in all those affluent markets that F1 races go to when the economy starts to pick up next year.

Good longer term recovery prospects I think with that one. Been in and out a few times, got in again the other day at 14.5p.

The great news for Aston when racing point / force India rebrands next year is they should have a decent f1 car that should be towards the front of the midfield... for anyone that follows f1, they are calling it the pink Mercedes.

This may have been deliberate to get Aston further up the field given Daimler own shares in Aston, so now does Wolff.

Don’t dispute that, some are also very good at ramping dead horses.

Wow... I saw someone taking that up on the eua telegram group, was close to whacking 1k down as a punt... I decided against it though as it was an utter gamble and all you hear is everyone pushing aim shares all day that are mostly dogs

Great to see Toto Wolf invested, he is a smart cookie and for anyone not aware he is the team boss of Mercedes F1, very successful all round

Agreed, Interestingly this whole outbreak has made me review my portfolio. I was definitely getting more and more carried away with trying to go for big wins, I never went to the extremes of people like Dogger and seeing his desperation brought me back down to earth.

Having reviewed and invested in a more diverse portfolio again I probably feel the most relaxed I have ever been and quite comfortable with recovery of my shares over the next couple of years.

I have a couple of risky ones like AML and EUA but comfortable with my level of risk here and doesn’t break the bank if they fail.

Will keep a close on AML, it’s quite a high risk one but I didn’t put a huge amount in.

I think with the DBX, F1 branding and the Valkyrie they have potential, stroll is no fool as he has proved with his business deals in the past plus his acquisition of Force India.

I would like to see Aston come good again, an iconic brand and the cars sound immense around LeMans

I keep asking myself this, Costain group made 100% in a couple of days, Rr doing well and have long term growth recovery, even Aston Martin is giving me some returns ( I did only just get into that though)

This dog refuses to move due to the control.

Question is what’s the end game? If I know they are controlling and it’s going to double its worth to, it this chugs along like this for another year what’s the point.
