A17 > “No risk” and “making money” in the same sentence is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.
If it’s earning a return, there’s risk — counterparty risk, reinvestment risk, duration risk, currency risk. If it truly has no risk, then by definition, it’s earning very little and inflation is quietly clipping it.
Cash has a role — liquidity, optionality, defence. But it doesn’t create value on its own. Productive assets do.
You don’t need my chart advice — that’s fine. But dismissing equities as “paper” while claiming guaranteed, risk-free growth is just semantics dressed up as certainty.
Capital either compounds through enterprise… or it idles in storage. The maths doesn’t change because we prefer the word “king.”
