Gas usage only increases from here...prices too

UK gas-fired electricity production has peaked this morning at nearly 20.6 GW (highest since April).

Last autumn, the UK didn't reach that amount of gas-fired power output until early November. Despite sky high prices, were are burning still lots of gas for electricity.

Cash sufficient to execute current business plan and reach self-sufficiency – Whilst cash at the end of June 2022 was only A$1.6m, the company has confirmed it expects to receive a A$2.0m R&D tax rebate in October. Furthermore, it notes that it has litigation funding approved, pending completion of due diligence process, which will put pressure on Maxwell to settle. Under our revised expectations, we continue to see CAP-XX as fully funded.

Legal proceedings have resulted in AVX royalties resuming, and product sales are up 44% by value on the previous year. Product sale margins have increased to 40% from 33% in FY21, demonstrating the positive impact from production using the former Murata manufacturing lines.

Looking ahead, we continue to expect sales growth to accelerate, driven by the conversion of 75% of Murata customers and a significant increase in new products, though this is tempered in the near-term by shortages of integrated circuits and supply constraints in Asia Pacific. We continue to forecast CAP-XX reaching EBITDA profitability in FY23E with potential upside from Maxwell Inc litigation, new licensees and a faster than forecast conversion of a $60m sales pipeline. We retain our Buy recommendation and increase our valuation to 14p.

in addition to the very valid points business aspets that provide the basis of the share price, in respect of simply the sp itself, I feel this is the only share in my pf that due to it's currently low level in respect of the potential ahead that offers me the opportunity of a 200 to 400 percent gain in quick time if and or when the business slips into profit and or a win in the IP case....yes there is risk as with any stock, however, at 4p the potential reward is somewhat greater if one or both of those factors come into play. ;-)

results to June as known, however, post period business has rapidly grown with wins delivering increased revenue, Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, World Cup and Christmas, the second half looks to be even more rewarding, Bod remains bullish about future growth as they should be with the many deals secured since June.

Growing a business in current climate is no easy thing, take a look around the markets...BGO have global coverage, new deals and are actually growing unlike many companies in this climate...far from slow when put into context . The sp may be slow to reflect their progress, however, macro aspects appear to be affecting prices across the markets, BGO are doing more than fine imo

the defending of an IP is essential and has been discussed on many occasions and all companies will protect their designs etc and credit for CPX for doing so...as you say this aspect is a key factor and if a 'win' occurs you will not be able to buy a cpx share while the mm's markup the sp. In the meantime business has now developed along morestable lines with own production the ever increasing sales pipeline (new business potential) that every business needs and the analysts value the business substantially higher without the IP win.

Importantly in this climate CPX have cash in the bank and more importantly NO debt that imo also suggests at 4p the stock remains undervalued with the current and forward look, particularly when looking around the markets and the issues facing some companies CPX is navigating fine.

I think security of rigs went up a couple of notches yesterday across the North Sea and beyond ....

Kist has a broker note out today with fair value price of 874p in current market, that to me emphasises SQZ remains seriously undervalued , particulary with regard to not only profits, cash potential M&A but further price rises in gas etc ...extract from broker note -
