ICE, your posts, and JO, have helped me reflect....but I dont think gloating helps.

Poker, the accounts are out, the vote impending, evaluations taking place...talk of who was right/wrong is an issue of ego...lets see how the `fundamentals' talk. I do not see the lenders bringing WG to it knees- I do see positive cash flow ahead...

The question is how much is Sidara (or others) willing to pay, and how much are institutions willing to accept for a firm with demonstrable individual, group and organizational capabilities in delivering `world class' solutions.

You pay a premium for a premium product/service. You expect, and trust, it to deliver. If it delivers it attracts talent, and continues to grow orders. Seems WG are starting to see the back of legacy issues, and poised for growth and profitability. Why else would Sidara be interested?

Seems to me asbestos litigation is nearing end; turney/fixed price contracting projects are ended; Amec investment written down; greater accounting controls established; non-core assets being sold to reduce debt; order book growing; enhanced stability (and Petrofac demise) will contribute to increasing orderbook etc. i do think Sidara would enhance WG, so why not a collaboration, or Sidara acquiring a portion of WG, after all they see plenty of prospects. Just my thoughts.

At $2000 gold what profit would kefi make? My main concern is the number of shares Kefi have (mitigated by many large buys). Hopefully a share consolidation or buy back in the future. I believe we are seeing a secular, not cyclical, shift in gold price. The Dollar is unsustainable!

After all the shameful, if not illegal, historical and current shenanigans at the Wood Group, we are coming into a period of closure. Which ego is right wrong on this chat room is of no matter to me. In the final analysis, as ICE has stated, lets see the figures (past, present and future) so we can see `fair value'. Petrofacs troubles are a good for Wood (and Sidara) IMO.
