Wood group is an engineering company with historic and subsequently accumulated, embedded and continuously growing engineering `competence/knowledge' . It needs to be sustained...if Sidara are the only ones that can see a profitable outlook...so be it.

Future, I have no certainty of the vote given Fidelity accumulation, I assume it will be in favour of Sidara offer. Hey all we see is ownership and returns change from one to the other. As long as WG staff continue to deliver workable solutions, the question of who profits is political. I hope WG staff and local communities benefit sustainably....

Would a Chinese bid for wood be deemed acceptable? perhaps the more pertinent question is...is there any new value to be added for the Chinese to want Wood.

WG have been dealing with a lot of issues since getting deluded/`ripped off' by, US, AMEC. WG, world class engineers, are now are at an inflection point- post /emerging from covid. WG (organization) will obviously survive...the returns will go to the middle east as the Western World continues its inexorable decline. The issue is - are we worth more than 30p?
