Hi Carrot, I am not sure about being needed down in the FI, PMO will have personnel presence when appropriate i.e infrastructure planning, supply and services. Keeping an eye on those developments as again think it was mogger posted. But all will fall into place only AFTER sanction. I think the Islanders will be content once the trigger is pulled.
Supprised at your previous comment about "no material investment"...could you explain. Thought you had a signicant holding or are they all on loan?

I agree there is nothing to be done that will affect the imediate share price, it vauled as it because that is (as moggers eddison post details) the city has only 20% confidence in SL coming to fruition.
Which of course others (including myself) thinks is too low Eddison (via mogger) has placed it at 55%. Is it worthy of consideration that the 20% factor could be also based around the RKH BoD.
I do not have any faith in them BUT who to replace with is a valid question and who would be qualified to decide is another?
Still remember what Lord May and Simpson done to Marconi.
Anyway we will know our fate soon enough and its tempting to step in AGAIN and inch the average down further.

The bet is they are his city connections.
To replace Moody we need oil men with not only good governance experience but also good fiscal /contract savy. Lets not get Tony Hayward in the mix (-:

Hi Carrot, I did vote against Moody getting given his position again. I pulled back from the whole board. I only have just <200k shares so I am small fry but every bit counts I guess.
As before: even if we get through this first step it (imo) needs to change. They are not fit for purpose so you have my support on that.
I am looking to add again but only a few £k
I am surposing if Gov gave approval it would then be a sig factor for PMO's decision on the sale of Zama.
PMO must reduce their debt, but really can not afford to drop SL. They can not afford to buy out RKH. What does make it interesting is how exposed the board must be due to their lack of share strenght BUT we must remember where Moody comes from (previous contacts) and who in the city holds those majority shares.

How can a person find out who owns the bulk of RKH shares?
I do now fully agree that Moody must go, he and the current incumbents are dangerous. I see no success in all that has occured since the crash. Should we get the loan approval they can not be trusted to steer or keep the company safe.
How much money was passed on from the % sale of the SL field to PMO.

I firmley belive that we will get the support from the UKGov as stated before it is the only logical course of action and available revenue for the islands long term future.
Just hope Boris can keep Corbyn and the Libdems out for the next 6 months.

Hi Carrot they might, but stability may never come we could be entering a unstable mid term period. $55 to $70 (brent) BUT one thing remains there has been a massive underinvestment in oil field development, gas/LNG investment has been big but prices now seeing the effects of that.
It is tempting to add as we can see this volitility is when the average can be reduced.
With all your share holdings what are you at 23/25p?

I just feel its a funny time for long term RKH investors to start selling? True it could fall further, always thought the same as it is effected by PoO and there is no stability there what with Trumps anticts: Tweets on Iran, tweets on China, granting dispensations on oil trariffs...its almost like he is deliberayely causing confusion.
RKH have sold their stake in Egypt, a very good poster pointed out maybe they could not afford the required addtional investment, its still a firm indicator that the board therefore are inept..planning etc etc.
OM payment...dont hold your breath
So that leaves us with PMO, SL and UKEF..its going to be a yay or nay. So dont blame you for wanting out if I could I would have BUT
A. I am not selling at a loss
B. Unless your keeping it in cash what share will be good in a very "mature" market.
C. If the UKEF pass /approve how big a jump do you think it would be when we were in the same position when the share was at 43p and oil at approx $75.

Hello Cit, thanks you for the input. If the straights were closed then that would significantly effect the ability to supply. So that would of course be a part of the speculation and reaction.
BUT
China remains a constant topic by many other quotes on influencing factors. I am not putting out any particular theory (nor for any particular agenda) just opening up debate, whilst we wait for news regarding RKH. So you see this as the ONLY influencing factor in PoO. is that what you are saying?
Shale, producing countries supply ability (or want i.e. OPEC+) , larger (Chine i.e.) customer demand etc etc are not factors???

The price is on its way down again (RKH belatedly following). Quite often China is quoted as a significant influencing factor and the fall out with Trump / potential trade war used as an influencing factor in these PoO “fluctuations”
We have tensions in the middle east ranging from Iran sanctions, Iraq not fully producing, Libya not fully producing. In the South Americas Venezuela (the largest producer) virtually out of the picture and OPEC+ holding on to their earlier limits.

With China imports up from this (link below) data statistic it does make you wonder who/what actually is effecting the oil price. Because it would be pretty low if Iran and Venezuela were fully in the picture?

RKH still holding up despite PoO falls? Where as PMO after a stable up date has followed down like a duckling.
A couple of decent sized purchases yesterday 15.44k and 12.81k ?
Combined with some one possibly trying to creep out at the same time with small frequent sells?
The larger 2x purchasing is interesting with low confidence in PoO freshening again, some one has belief of some good news.

Will be interesting to see how the recent gains, hold out against the drop in PoO. Profit taking on the way for those that want to take 5%? . It will be reflective of someone sold 2x 50,000 blocks at 13:00 is yesterday, well off the peak.

Hey Nigoil, I added both RKH and PMO after managing to take some profits on HUR.
I added further to RKH and PMO with those (trying to reduce my average further) because I feel they had been low and flat lining (especially RKH) at those low's for such a long time.
Note: obviously if PoO collapses then RKH could be dragged down below 20 as it has only has the SP risen on only the most recent of rise in PoO.
My thoughts are with PMO's Zama info getting better and better; the stronger PMO is the better the effect on RKH?
Obviously I am still aware the there will be no significant movement with RKH until there is positive (or negative) information regarding the yeah or nay regarding the UKEF. I am not expecting much from OM.
Egypt seems to be very quiet, as are the RKH BoD's: They can not just be fiddling like Nero surely?
I can agree with Carrot on one thing: I have no trust in the RKH BoD's but the prize they have stumbled on is significant and personnel would be very happy if they were bought by another and the sooner the better in my opinion.

I would have thought that selling and interest would mean selling a % of their asset? I of course was not there so am not privy to the whole of your conversation.

Hi GS, thank you for the information. I may be wrong but does such happen (announcements) when a company wishes to raise capital for a large game changing project or announce buy back for example?
It was the wording "expected" and it is the second time it has been mentioned i.e. 1st from a brand new poster 2nd from Carrot who obviously, by his own admission, a shorter or happily mine sweeping low price shares. So it would be logical to ask if I had missed something and also doubt the authenticity of unsupported negative posts that are possibly placed in order to create further opportunity's. Good luck I say, but it does get a bit "old" with such obvious tactics.
With Short tracker (and the FT article) actually being able to confirm companies are targeted for shorting, this does lend credence peoples theory’s that: Posters constantly putting out unsupported negative claims, would be of that ilk.
I will also say the same is true of no fact based positive posters too, but at least they are "hoping" for success as I am sure Carrot is, it just happens to be out of my sphere of ability and in the wrong direction to my investment hopes.
