Hello, not saying I agree with any prospects of PMO being sought.
Total saw a deal in buyin Maersk Oil? Is Catcher, Tolmount and Zama, SL, etc etc and dept similiar to Culzean, assets to decom and debt?
Total done the Maths and thought Maersk oil goody buy.
Chryasor thought Shells old assets worth buying?
I see the majors moving out of the North Sea BUT stable locations can also be of value.

I am not so concerned with what we can not chage in the near term, more so with the long term. The BoD are not are not getting suffeciently challanged or held in check. That will not change without an attempt at share holder unity. It may be a waste of effort...
As I do appreciate complaining and doing nothing can be most satisfying for some types, who chuck their money in on a bet.

Hello all, hardley ever post here. I started with RKH in 2016 and PMO a touch later. I have had to keep averaging down over there and here.
Yes the this is a plaything of shorters but at least over here you (PMO) have bought good assets (I will duck down as you throw rocks at me i.e Sea Lion).
TD (imo) has navigated the company away from insolvency and PMO is reducing dept. I would like Zama sold as others have said to reduce that dept and give abit more of a breathing space on repayments and protection.
SL is the monkey on your back but he is/can not proceeding with out the adequate cover. If PMO do not go for SL where/when will they find such an potential (although TD has said how pleased he has been with the exploration team, rightly so).
PMO is a heck of a lot better run that RKH. I wish you would buy us out!
My take on the future of PoO is remember the Saudi's are still looking to take their oilthe stock market (2020 i am reading) and will keep trying to keep Oil up. The shale operators are now finding that there is no free money anymore and they can only improve and cut operating costs in diminishing amounts now.

The bit that gets me is that PMO fully bought into SL and now we find ourselves trying to read between the lines on TD's inflection of SL.
That should not be the case....it should be promote...promote. Come on chaps....after all these years....PMO have "paid" RKH "squandered" that "pay". PMO need to step up in there premotion of this project in every interview are they? Answer NO. Thats what since 2016 (i bought in) is really what i am seeing. What happens if they do not sell Zama?!

It was a shocker and IMO it really is the attitude and is totally reflective of the board.
The serious short falls, contractural errors, purchase errors and fiscal control are monumental (as others have kindley detailed and summerised).
Yes the sector is very badly affected (good reminder post below) but that is only partly responsible for this sp crash.

Looks like the recent events have brought out the more mature investors for some decent comment.
Having owned from 18 I have seen no actual headway. My original comment regarding "if" we survive this then Sam must go to protect the future prospects of RKH still stands and may have some support..but i doubt if even 50 of us could produce enough shares to be taken seriously but would 50 letters to the 3 main companies that do own shares be of any value?
I belive that the man and the board must go....as before the attitude was apparant with Fiona and her "kerrrrching" comments way back and its here now and its not going to change.
As has been said, there has been no wage reduction introduced to Mr Moody and Co, as there has been across the "real" offshore industry.

We are all in now, you could be a very wealthy chap, even if you liquidate at Fid approval. Even more so if PoO would flippin stabalise. You have shale, iran, opec+, trade wars, venzl, russia/middle east and Trump with a can oil petrol and twitter matches=confused.com
Anyway I guess you traders love it.
