A lot of chat on the PMO board regarding the Iranian tanker damage / explosion.
It has obviously affected PoO and PMO has moved up accordingly.
This rise in PoO seems to have any affect to RKH's SP. That though is not suprising since we do not actually produce any more....but....the continued and real growth in tensions out over there can only continue to support PMO's chances of getting goverment support for FI development i.e "relatively safe" region, especially as the Argies continue to explore potential development near by.
If the Argies find Oil in thier own waters they may start to relax on their infatuation with our little islands.
I can not see the middle east problems going away or easing only getting a lot worse.

Although it is from Nov 2018 it sits nicely with the merco press comments when the FI trade delegation visited the UK seeing (mid 2019) government officials and then leading support to PMO up in Aberdeen (after).

It still shines some hope on this investment (Despite our 12 Monkeys efforts to bankrupt RKH) if we continue to try and connect the dots to supplement the little (in RKH's case NONE) amount of accurate (stress accurate) information available or forth coming from PMO.
We must continue to sit with fingers and toes crossed and hope that PMO can secure the required green light on funding THEN secure the required additional investors, then FID and only then possible sanction. That would be a nice day indeed.
I remain hopeful BUT VERY anti the RKH BoD's and continue to hope that investors apply pressure (write/email to larger share holders...see previous list) toward these incompetents.

Hello all minor point: The shorter's have dropped blow 0.5% (9th September) that is a first for some time? (2014).
Obviously as the web site states: We no longer track disclosures after they drop below 0.5%. It is possible that the manager still holds a short position even if we are showing it as zero

Hey Carrot how many are underwater and holding on? The share movement /trading is effectively dead. Surley they would attend agm's or do these personnel in brokerage accounts answer to no one? If we look at the trading on PMO its obviously getting traded well, as the recent rise then fall (following the drone spike) demonstrated so well. We all know why RKH is not getting traded.

Thank you Nig, I will endeavour to only speak in positive tones for you. I have on previous comments laid out my reason for doubt in the abilities of the RKH BoD's.
Please understand dear chap you really undermine you credibility if you with hold reasoned rebuff to my concerns.
I do not belive you can be above water in this stock unless you have averaged down massively and continually. I of course may be wrong and you have read the tealeaves to perfection.
How you support the BoD's so positively is beyound mine and possibley most readers. I belive in the hugh potential of the project but I belive, have significant concerns on their abilities.

Hello Carroteater, I am unsure on the feasability of such a proposal. It would require significant cost to bring such and if lost in the high court further costs in paying their legal bill too.
The only course realisticaly available is (again, imo) writing / emailing to the major shareholders. I have emailed and received the coments back from thier legal dept's that they do not comment on company investments....but at least it shows some of us smaller share holders are very concerned. It also posdibley raises the prifile on this particular investment. Beaware it may have a negative affect in that they offload BUT the sp will only (as we all know) move up if/when firstley when FID is positively announced (and the positive outcome of UKEF and probabley further PMO farmout) and then saction.
To that affect such matters are out of the RKH BoD's ability to influence or enable. My concerns are remain that IF we do survive to sanction we do not allow these people to remain at the helm thereafter. As said before they are not reducing their salary's because they think they own RKH they do not. Where all these share are owned beyond the known big 3 is of interest.
I just hope they are not all commited to shorting.

Hey Auson, yes the CV's look good but the results are not. Its that simple. There is a term in the business: NRB.
If you belive they are good at what they are doing then fair enough, but every choice they have made has been very poor at best but I think it is on the side of incompetent.
If PMO get us out of the hole are you going to trust them RKH BoD) with your money and Isobel?
They are sucking this dry and the future is issuing more share to raise more capital. Contracturaly inept, business decisions inept, money management inept.
I am unsure how you can support them?

I still say we have to write/email the major share holders to effect change in the BoD.
These guys are hopeless. They have not made a decent business decision since the find. They are not getting any better and have not reduced their income to help either.
They have to go. They are incompetent and ad no one is challanging them they will keep at it. They are not oil men (imo).

One thing regarding the recent attack on the Saudi facilities, is as many are reporting, placing higher focus and emphasis on the fragility of the region. The ease that supply can be affected has been reawakened. Now that this has been a sucess there will undoubtedly be further copy cat attacks.
This as sad as it is does lend further thought to the UK to continue to protect its potential supply AND one thing that may not have been considered is, what happens post BREXIT and our Scottish brother decide to leave us? that is placing Oil now in the hands of a separate country that may, needing revenue to support their "brave hearts" charge us for the previous UK's free oil.
All off the above lends some serious considerations in getting that little group of islands in the Atlantic producing.

Trump is obviously backing an oil price that suits the Shale business and cheap "gas" for American public as a vote influence. Couple that with his resentment of OPEC and their historic influence. On balance you can see why i.e the US has got its hands dirty in the middle east defending the "House Of Saud" and therefore the region for decades (as did we when we turned our Navel ships from Coal to Oil back in the day).

Antigua18, you raise a good point, one that I had not considered: How much instruction and influence has been exerted on those reporting the inventory figures now to favor US policy and therefore price.
We see some reporters in the Shale industry stating it is riddled with it for finance / funding purposes.
One thing is to also consider: this attack has gained success, world wide press and therefore probable not the last now this group and others have seen its results. Pipelines for example are very vulnerable and a lot harder to defend.

Iran and Ven off the market (to all extents)
Shale flooding market
Shale delivery on investor i.e production rates and field life per investment cost
Trade war
Low interest rates and requirement for investors to make returns on cash
Lack of long term investment in future oil field developments (other than Shale)
Middle east tension
EV production and Paris agreement requirements
Its a slightly confusing market out there and the speculators like it, not sure about long term holders (being one), especially when the likes of PMO/ RKH/HUR are waiting on "news" to set the the potential new level of it sp.
