According to the last rns the company is not going broke. How about u stop looking at a graph and actually look at the company information b4 u comment.
Agree old, emotions running high it seems. Nfx is a bit of a car crash but is hard to blame that solely on the current guard. Anne hasn't helped sentiment though, so can understand where the anger is coming from, even if I think the hatred maybe unreasonable.
What are u on about Dan?
Nice buys today, hope it continues
If they do take on another ceo, do you think it would affect the fully funded statement, will they need to tap the market again? Or is it they've just got the negotiated annual pay for anne included and they would hope to find someone willing to accept the same terms?
Yes dont think you can label nfx anything but disappointing at moment. It's one disaster after another. Shame as it is, given the assets they have. Tempted to buy more and lower the avg but starting to lose confidence, these are big sellers and I'm super concerned that it might be a named holder, if it is can you imagine the market response on a holdings rns being issued from either JH or DG. Just waiting atm while I watch my investment deteriorate day by day.
I appreciate the chances are slim but there is also the innovate grant we may hear about in q3. It wasnt phrased as a lost cause in the fy end results;
" The Group is also continuing to seek non-dilutive grant funding for its early-stage assets that, if successful, will enable further investment in the Group's pipeline to accelerate development. The Group applied for an Innovate UK Smart Award grant in January 2021 and, due to the highly competitive nature of these grants, it was, unfortunately, unsuccessful. However, post-period we have re-submitted the application, taking into account feedback and the outcome is expected in Q3, 2021"
I was thinking of doing so, waiting pay day but being honest not so sure now. Anne leaving is a big confidence hit. I think anyone without significant losses, it would be a good bet at this price given potential value of assets and relatively low cost of operations. But for me it feels like I am trying to catch a falling knife. I've never lost so much on any investment.
Wonder if allenby's fair value remains the same in light of this. Nfx shareholders cant catch a break, this is beyond disappointing.
I think it's reasonable to be frustrated given where we are but agree with oldbw when news comes it comes, we just have to dwell in abject misery until then.
Yep, hope the oxilio deal gets firmed up shortly. Further announcements on positive developments with nxp002 and nxp004 later in the year I fear would see a mooted market response until we begin to see some progress with revenue generation.
Thanks soup good find.
Fair point chab but if I shared your belief I would no longer be invested in nfx, I would also not still be bothering to follow the company as what value is left if you cant trust any of the previous work conducted?
Not having a go but your twisting my words chab, I'm clearly not saying that you cant invest in or comment on nfx I'm saying I dont think you can safely say that what chris said in his interview last year was BS. Pre clinical studies are underway to generate a more robust data package, this data will come in time. It is also a potential reason as to why we lost out on the innovate grant, just a thought. I would also note that CB indicated treatments for covid19 not long covid and he clearly referenced it needed clinical validation. I'm also significantly in the red in nfx but wont claim that they have given us BS on any of the tech just yet, I would have sold if i thought that and i assume u still hold some faith too as you're still here. It should also be noted that they're still investigating the causes of long covid even now, so chances are nxp002 may not target the relevant area we simply dont know yet. Not knowing something, hypothesizing and then testing to validate and draw your conclusion is science not BS. Even if it turns out CB was wrong on nxp002 links to a potential covid treatment it's a reasonable hypothesis to make given what nxp002 does and that severe cases of covid19 can cause inflammation and scaring of the lungs. We just have to wait and see. The points/concerns you raise on the article leak, subsequent late reporting, the undisclosed payments etc. I also share but are unrelated to the original comment you made
Dont be so quick to discredit Chris Blackwell's remarks about this last year. Fact of the matter is nxp002 needs further validation/ data which is underway. Long covid isn't going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately. Please do enlighten us all on why you think CBs comments were BS? Do you work in the biotech sector?
Filter, ii's and high net worth individuals rarely look at companies below 100m ncap. We wont be on their radar yet.
Far better interview than yesterday's, much more professional, better questioning and more informative responses. Very welcome at this time.
Deals take time as we've seen, further work on existing ip has been mentioned to accelerate interest from the right parties can only assume JH is no longer required in a full time capacity to deliver this, dont expect to see new business ventures for a while at least
Can only assume that further development of IP is not on the cards or at least not the focus now, hope they have enough with the one remaining full time member to deliver the work on nxp002 and nxp004 with Jh now in an advisory role only. Do need to see some progress on deals now. At least Jh interests are in our court with her 37 5m shares, and surely with 12yrs of her professional life dedicated to this she would not leave unless it was part of the plan and she had confidence in Anne delivering value on her 12yrs + work and setting herself up for a nice comfortable life/retirement.
Both are dead
