when i was on my way to the tern forest, out in the open there were lots of bears and bulls wandering about in peace together. i passed a lot of other forests on the way, in some it looked like the bears had been rampaging, but all of the bears and bulls and the owners inside had died, those forests were fenced off and called shell forests. i guess that both bears and bulls have to accept they can lose.

the bears mainly seemed to be congregating around the outside of the pristine green forests, which were lit up on the inside by long green candles, those forests were full of overweight bulls. every now and then one of the bears would wander into a pristine green forest, to have a look around, then come out and chat to the other bears outside.

outside the tern forest which was far from pristine, it was mainly surrounded by bulls trying to peer inside, to see if the bears were still rampaging. i met a bull called milab, he was carrying a blue oyster cult cd and a book of poetry, milab said that he had been chased out of the tern forest by a slow bear, but that he had got away from the bear easily though, as it was wearing y-fronts, and they slipped down and tripped it up. another bull called mannan, said that a drunken g.rumpy bear had tried to chase him out of tern forest, but that he had been able to just walk calmly away from it, the g.rumpy bear had been so drunk on reaper ****tails, after partying so hard. so i figured it didn't sound too scary in the tern forest, and i wandered in for a look around.

tern up, down or sideways, i dinnae ken? i am just a bit of a gambler walking through the lands of aim looking for signs, a bit like my grandad was on the gee-gee's. but yt and g.rees, the resident tern forest bears say its going down to nothing, and that they haven't seen any signs of the bear trend changing. so i had probably better just believe them, and mind to keep some cash ready to average down.

Hmm JC, yes and no, there are plenty of analogue farm in agreements out there to reference, this isn't the first oil and gas farm in.

Anyway I guess it will take as long as it takes, and terms will be what we Omar can negotiate. Overall I am just hoping the written contract, contains at least one of the following pieces of text -

thanks milab, for that positive poetic, post for tern. it is very quiet here today without the bears, i guess they are snoozing, happy and secure in the bearish trend, who wouldn't be, as the bears say "just look at the chart".

it sure as bears **** in the forest, shows a long downtrend, no wonder those bears in the tern forest were high fiving and backslaping each other at their parties in the tern forest - tern is going down right, into the ground, which idiots would argue with that.

but like you i also don't fear the bears with their eternal negativity, but lth here, those who bough in heavy up at 25p will be thinking wtf alberto superlavisto. they will be thinking just like the bears, still scared, feeling negative about their investment.

there is something called the change process, which covers the stage we go through when a major change is forced upon us, redundancy, bereavement, major investment gone wrong way... it basically says **** happens, the sooner you get with it, then the better the outcome will be for you - some companies spend millions getting this accross to their employees, so that their employees manage change better for them.

i understand the lth pain, but still wonder where lth sit in this change process are they still scared, have they become bears not bulls on tern, i don't blame lth, but is there more to fear down here?

With a small uncomplicated company like GBP, the farm in terms should be easy to agree. It is not like Totalenergies and BP trying to agree a deal, with 50 laywers on each side arguing about the meaning of one particular phrase - I expect it to be a fairly quick process between GBP (minor exploration company and the larger operator "X".

We are waiting to find out who our potential partner "X" is though, in my eyes the main candidates are: Chevron, Azule (BP/ENI), ExxonMobil, QuatarEnergy, GALP, TotalEnergies or another operator not yet in Nambia and wanting in.

Some here are expecting Chevron they farmed into another Walvis basin licence recently

Exxon - I think have a drillship just north of the border in Angola, understand they are planning to or already completed a southern angola well, which has Namibia oil implications

My grandad used to gamble on the horses, maybe helped take his mind of the horrors of what he had been through in WW2. I am always wondering if I backed the wrong nag after I have made a bet, so I went for a walk into the Tern forest.

I remember seeing pictures of it back in the spring of 2018 and 2021, so beautiful and green, they didn't seem real. It broke me apart, big piles of bear turds everywhere, it stank, I could hardly put a foot down anywhere, it was a horrible negative place, loads of big fat bloated bears were living there having parties, they were right at home.

I walked on a bit further into the forest, came across loads of bull carcasses rotting. There were three sweepy brushes, but nobody had used them, a slaughtered antelope, a torn kite with three letters cam on it, and "punt" scrawled on it.

In the centre was a scruffy looking castle with a tattered flag flying, the coat of arms said Alberto superlavisto on it, I think that is where the owners lived, with a couple of bulls they had made friends with. Nobody dared to go out though, they were surrounded by rampaging bears, one of them had scrawled on the castle walls in bear turd, the words Al S**t show.

Do you have any presentations on ECO blocks and which block contains their primary target(s). Do ECO have the 3d Seismic mapped technical processing and mapping work completed?

I was also trying to understand if/how the Kudo shale source rock extends, to each of the ECO licences, do you have anything which explains that? How the source rock extends and effects the PEL94 targets, is clearly explained in Global's presentations, and I could see how that overlapped with some of ECOs accerage, but not for other ECO blocks.

Overall I couldn't see any technical detail anywhere on the ECO licences, they looked a bit less progressed overall on the technical work which can take time?

Just wondering, how do you guys feel about being open about your precence here, are you long term long, short, part long part trading... are you happy to be open about when your buying, selling, or whether you are invested, maybe just if prompted?

Important to note that, the deal there that Impact energy struck is on the Totalenergies Venus block in the orange basis - where drilling has already been completed, proving that reserves similar to those that we are hoping to find existing on our block - because the same source rock has been mapped by the subsurface specialists, to extend up into the Walvis basin and prevalent in our licence.

So to make out that GBP could cut a deal like that now is wrong. We will be in the same position as Impact only once exploration drilling has proven our "prospective" oil resource are similar say to Venus.... So that deal is a good analogue, if we want to sell 10% once we have drilled and have proven reserves.

So important not to get ahead of ourselves, it is a prospect until the reserves are proven by the drill bit. Right now we are selling equity, to an operator who believes in the subsurface work, one that is willing to spend the money on drilling, to prove up that the huge oil resource is there.

That said we are in a strong position, Mcap way undervalue still, for a block with 100s of billions of dollars value in prospective oil, and an operator interested in drilling on it - thats why the operator wants to farm in, to drill and then eventually bring the oil into production.

Personally I am getting sick of this, bear infestation dumping their negativite bull across our investments. They are such an negative influence, de-valuing the UK aim markets and my investments in them. I wouldn't wish a bear attack on anyone, but who knows, Karma has a funny way of playing out, so maybe these bears de-rampers, will end up with a bear attach on their own stocks.

Here and across AIM stocks, I am hoping we are in for a "Bear winter of discontent", hoping for risers across all of your "bullish, long, oversold" market investments.

Why would he be bothered though, he says TERN will ever only go lower, so his short trade would be fine (if that is his position), he seems sure he will always be able to buy soon again lower, even if it temporarily goes up a bit.

Although I am not upto speed with what that equates to say in US$, just roughly in todays money - what is the value of that gold?

Oil is pretty easy to work out US$/bbl cost per barrel ... but what is the a price of gold per Mt today - the future is the future....

Difficult to put a number on the back costs, but they are in the millions, thats what the placings were for during the decline in SP. Could be wrong but I think they were to pay for a 2D seismic campaign, and to buy an existing set of 3D seismic data on the block (which is what they have used to map the drilling targets). Then their is the licence fees, the engineering and processing over a few years to evaluate the Seismic data sets.... it all adds up.

Suppose you could read some past RNS, and add the cost of the placings together for a start.

Although GBP can probably structure the deal, to come out of the farm in with more money, than just back costs if they want to. They could agree lower percentage ownerships, trading block equity for more cash. They could agree free carry on the exploration program (more seismic and drilling) or even a free carry right through to production, they would need to give away more equity in the block to the operator though.

So GBPs focus and intentions going forward, come into play for how Omar structures the deal, along with operators and what costs are going forward to progress towards firming up the resources with drilling. The good thing is we have good starting percentage ownership to play with, for whatever amounts of cash Omar is targeting & free carries... its a balancing act - to get a deal that suits all parties needs and aspirations.

Overall we are in a good place for negotiating with 78% of a block that is in an area in demand, with drill ready targets, Omar is in a strong negotiating position.

Very quiet without the bears attacking this weekend, maybe 0,17 was their target price, It seems a logical support/bounce point in the chart. So hopefully the Bear attack is over, at least for now anyway until the SP is higher again.

Personally I am just holding here, hoping the hundreds of billions of dollars prospective oil value in the Block, starts to feed significant growth in our SP.

Fully appreciate that we don't have anything at the moment to go on, big if,, but if we were find a Haverion at Juno - what is the value of the gold at Haverion.
