RE: RNS Tanzanian Gold Acquisition to Double Resources to 1.3Moz31 May 2022 09:42
I am not certain but it looks like the shares element of the consideration has been pushed back in this new revised deal and given our current share price that is great news and a real weight off my mind.
Originally, I think we had $500,000 cash plus $2.5 million in shares on completion. Now we have $500,000 cash, then a further $1,000,000 cash and then the shares at some point in the future. It sounds like 'completion' has been pushed back but with a licence of some sort to get working prior to completion and obviously with a firm option/commitment to complete built in.
This new deal appears to allow us to crack on with the work but also time to get the updated resource statement for Kili Hill released and so get the share price up before any payment in shares is required.
If my interpretation is correct then this is another excellent bit of business.
