Thank God for that and now letting some young Hard up the opportunity while us ole school enjoy our retirement

Lloyds are buying back shares today and will go ex-dividend next month, I believe 13/04/2023 ( call me a shareholder ..lol )

Anyway shares bought back before ex divi date are cancelled therefore the Group will be saving money invester sell-outs clearly don't want the final dividend and traders taking short term punts

Buy Back benefits will hopefully be seen medium term, Ok we all want the Jam today.

Another good buy back in 2023 , say we see another 4 Billion shares cancelled, this will be an excellent achievement for any retail investor like me , while still picking a few grand ( wages ) in dividend money :-)

IMHO they are more negative posters recently, only reason they are here, lets not kid ourselves the smell the opportunity to buy back in at a cheaper price ;-)

I just know reducing the number of shares in circulation is good for me today, I live for today.

I am happy with the Dividends here and happy to keep adding while I have excess money in my current account in 2023.

Not really interested politics to be honest.

Yes I know if Lloyd's Banking Group making good profits then HMG will be sniffing around, Sadly that's life we all will need to pay taxes until we die.

I slept on this thread

I woke up questioning why any true investor would question a Buy Back here

Its not like we not been paid a good dividend on top of the buy back.

Years on years I read posters screaming Lloyds Banking Group has too many shares in issue :-)

I say sit back enjoy life and wait until the Board have completed its buy back policy and see where the share prices is then.
