Personally, I'd worry if the CFO went unless it was explained very carefully. If he choses to go, it might send a signal to the markets that things are even worse than they look. My guess is that he's been surprised by what he's found since being taken on and that he's now dealing with it. If he's ousted, that would also need careful explaining to my mind as he looks to be the only one that might, just might, have a chance of starting to turn this ship around. For my money Franklin (appointed 2019) and Gilmartin (appointed July 2022) are holding untenable positions. Balan, who seems to have an impeccable record has been in position from April last year. To my mind his tenure co-incides with the SP decline, but I don't mean he's responsible for it, my guess is that he's getting the rubbish out from under the carpet. That will allow a better CM/CEO and management team (directors?) to start to get things back in order.

Evans, the board are not worth backing, they've had time to prove that and they've proved it. We need a new CM and CEO. Fingers crossed the CFO has precipitated the change here that is leading to us seeing the worms. Let's hope he continues to do a great job (if indeed my assumption here is correct) and that the CM and CEO are replaced with people who can get things done.

Yes, that's going to be hard work aspers. If you were to double up with 367k new shares at 30p, with your 24,500 shares around 450p, you could bring your average down to around 56p. That's not out of the question, but obviously it's risky!!

Amann, that's a bit my difficulty. In unchartered territory it becomes very difficult for me to come up with specific SP numbers and I have to sit and watch the price action/volume etc. I get what you say re round numbers. Not very 'satisfying' if you see what I mean, but I know it holds value of sorts.

That would be interesting Coco. For the moment, there is clearly no significant buying in this market. Guesswork from similar situations historically suggests to me that we should see some buying, but it's clear that the market is very spooked by this update.

JG, I suspect there was no 80k. i suspect Magnifique is magicking magnificent numbers from a hat. He/she joined LSE yesterday and now has 57 posts. Filter is my advice.
