Greatland Gold at Telfer... see GGP twitter feed
from Lenin Moreno:
The beautiful Imbabura, home of an enormous ecological, geological and ethnocultural richness, receives today its certificate as a world Geopark @UNESCO. With this recognition, Ecuador shares its natural paradise with all the world. What Pride and joy!
followed 7 hours ago from the mining minister Fernando Benalcazar:
This recognition of UNESCO makes all activities to be carried out at the highest environmental level and is implemented under a plan that contributes to the sustainable development of the area.
Make of these what you will...
cant we just make them vote again if they give the "wrong" answer... seems to be a legit methodology in the uk.
I'm finding this board incredibly wearing at the moment. Is it just me?

havieron - holes 1-4
I dont think Newcrest will care how high the share price goes in GGP - their farm-in is dependent solely on their agreed exploration spend, the only part where they pay market value is for 5% after completing stage 4 and already earning a 70% share. they might want that final 5% to reach 75% or they may be content with 70%, leaving us with the 30% if the deposit is what we all hope it is. so, given the above, no need to withhold anything. whats not to like?
well said. i think it will come down to the initial Newcrest drill assays.. we have a few good holes, and the geology is similar to Telfer, but the volume is not yet proved.
well this isnt going anywhere anytime soon.... looks almost as bad as the barnier/may negotiations - he said she said.
DL replaced as exec chairman by sheikh maktoum
board and company structure changes apparently..
has just issued a trading halt on ASX pending an announcement. are we seeing some nearology?
what if the assays are so out there that they have had to get them re-assayed. can/does happen. I have no idea what is going on either and its starting to feel like last year again..
unlikely. ASX listing was discussed at the AGM, but adds costs, regulatory burden and would take time to process.
gotta love the way the price is knocked down in the final auction only for the bid and ask to be marked above the closing price immediately afterwards.
around 80m declared interests i believe..
Weird isn't it.
Rockfire.. autocorrect should be banned!
Anyone know what stock ticker rock.gb.pl is all about on this site? Says it's Rockford resources plc.
needless to say - the GGP shares are all in the ISA and have been funded from selling a few SOLG. would be happy to make a nice turn on these now.
i moved 2 lots over a tax year change - was a very good move as they went on to make £300k
