BUT if a Tech or Optical company has been monitoring Lucyd's progress so far, this might motivate them to get out the chequebook to pre-empt IPO...they would need to be generous??

TEK will surely be gaining recognition, and do very well for us...added AWE modestly last week, might be huge

Agreed Ace, I like the diversified portfolio too.
Seems like TEK, as a business model, discover interesting IP patents, form a company from them, bring them to fruition, then take them to market - the idea to have a 'conveyor belt' of companies at different stages of development.
TEK board seem astute to me, don't think they'll jump too early, but will need capital to progress the company - better than constant raises??

It's my possibly rough understanding of TEKs business model that they will sell off the stake in BELL (maybe not completely??) so as to have capital, in order to instigate new IP companies within the portfolio. And continue to repeat the process.
Us shareholders will receive a proportion of the funds accrued in the form of a Special Dividend.
In that scenario, given the way you feel about BELL, you could invest that dividend in buying BELL shares??

Recently added AWE, don't see the FT article as being hugely relevant personally, SP dive just gave me a better entry point...focusing more on the info from the company and broker ratings, from what I've read very positive
Think AWE could potentially be huge, any further thoughts deltalo?

Agree with your thoughts on TEK completely, just the $5m pre money valuation on Microsalt seems slight considering the news recently
If I do decide to venture, it wouldn't be macro, so to speak
